Yige Women's High Waist Flared Skirt Pleated Midi Skirt with Pocket

I was looking for mid-shin skirts, something for the fall that I can wear athletic capris under for an extra layer. This skirt isn't quite long enough for my capris, but it's wonderful regardless. If you're a bike-shorts-under-skirts kind of person, this will suit you just fine.I usually wear an American size 4 Petite, but I sized up and purchased this Yige Women's High Waist Flared Skirt Pleated Midi Skirt with Pocket in a size 6.It fits perfectly -my waist is 28" and my hips are 39".The skirt arrived new and folded in a simple plastic sleeve. I steamed out the wrinkles with a little travel steamer, and even though I was hasty, the wrinkles were removed easily. The garment hangers are a nice touch, but I love the pockets! They may not be huge, but they are functional and will hold my phone (iPhone SE (same size as iPhone 5)). A nice liner is sewn in, it is almost as long as the skirt (not short like some liners) and it is a good color match, at least in khaki. The zipper didn't give me any trouble and is perfectly invisible.The pleats in the front and back are simple, classic, and evenly spaced. When I twist and swirl the skirt does not rise very high -so modesty is preserved and panties remain secret. But the skirt does enable plenty of motion, so if you need to climb into a monster truck you can. Lastly, my dog likes this skirt.So this classic shape fits me well, and it has pockets, and I think it is perfect. Now I need to decide what color I want to buy next 🤔

I ordered the brown and the navy skirts, both in size 8 based on the sizing chart within the sellers page, not the one in the photo section. I normally wear a size 6 in brick and mortar clothing, and expected this to be a bit on the small size based on both review and the fact that the product is made tailored to Asian sizing. I was tempted to get in a size 10, and then tailor it myself, but decided to take the chance on the sizes I chose. While the skirts both fit, they were inconsistent in sizing by at least a good inch waist-wise and about an inch and a half length-wise.Relative to my height, I was expecting a longer skirt. I am 5'2.5, and the navy skirt was above my knee. The waist was quite snug on the smallest part of my waist (which is about 28-29 inches), but wearable. The brown skirt was much longer, falling well past my knee, and quite roomy around the waist, although not so much so that it took away from how the skirt is supposed to look or drape while on.The navy skirt was a matte fabric, thinner and incredibly static prone, although not a big deal to me as I don't intend to wear during the colder months. The brown skirt had a bit more of a sheen and was much more substantial in thickness and looked less "school-girlish". Either way, I liked the materials, the style, the fit, and that they both appeared to be very well made. Having said that, to err on the side of caution, I'd probably have ordered up a size and tailor myself, as I'd originally planned, the caveat being that you won't know which particular skirts/colors/materials you'd need to size up on. The downside of ordering online! I'll be wearing and enjoying my skirts this spring and summer, no matter. All in all, not a terrible purchase at all.

This skirt is absolutely lovely! There is no stretch to it, however, if you have the right size it is so flattering and I can’t wait to wear it. The material is a tiny bit shiny and it has pockets, not see though, and just a lovely fabric. I can’t wait to wear it for fall and winter with boots and high heels- so many options. Considering other fun colors.

The fit is good and I thought it would work really well with the outfit idea I had. I wanted a “champagne” type color to match the top I bought for a rehearsal dinner outfit. The skirt has an odd green tint to it… I even went outside to see it in natural light and a friend of mine said it still looked bad. I can still use this for work, but it certainly won’t work for what I had intended. I couldn’t even go back and buy a pure white version of this skirt because it was sold out/taken off the listing, so I’ll just have to buy a totally new skirt elsewhere.Long story short: the fit is good, but the khaki color has a green tint to it.

Although the reviews were mostly positive, I was holding my breath because there were a few bad ones and you never know what you will receive. I ordered the black, navy, and khaki skirts and I am so happy I did! The skirt does not feel heavy on but the material itself is heavy so it is not see-through nor cheap feeling at all. The skirts have a liner inside, which confirms the previous statement though I do wish it was longer. Not a deal breaker as I always wear a half slip underneath anyway. The texture of the skirt feels nice and flowy and smooth and LOOKS high quality. The zipper, which I’ve seen reviews on here bashing, is your typical tight zipper (see pics) and as women who have dealt with this kind of zipper, all you need is a little patience and gentleness when pulling on it. I am 5’4 and 125lbs so I went with a size 4 - it felt perfect since the skirt has no stretch but I was able to breath. The ONE thing I would change is that you cannot tumble dry as per the instructions so instead you have to hang it dry. It’s not the end of the world but not the most convenient either. Honestly for $24 these skirts are the way to go because I’ve seen other ones on here that are double the price and not as good in quality.

This skirt is adorble. It fits perfectly and I didn't realize the material is actually silky! I ended up ordering it in another color. I'm honestly probably going to get one more!

The fit is perfect in the waist and for the length to come just under the knee line. The fabric wrinkles sooooo easily. Iron it but soon as my daughter sat down it wrinkled fast. The stitching is poorly and loosely done which is probably the reasoning for the washing and drying directions.

skirt runs a little big, hits below the knee on a petite person. not difficult for alterations. i do wish it was shipped in proper packaging. it arrived in a clear ziplock bag with a label

This skirt was far too small both in the waist size and in length. In fact I have since been warned not to buy clothes from China because inevitably they are too small. I have since taken it down to the post office for return but that has cost me over £12 which I will not get back.

Me quedo perfecta, llegó rápido, diseño igual a las fotos de publicidad. El único detalle es que la pedí rosa y llegó morada.Ya no me da tiempo a devolverla y pedir una nueva y que llegue en tiempo y forma para mí evento.
