Review: Good value - Works as well as any other sprayer at that price point I have ever used Review: Great for fence and oil based stain - Just finished using this to spray just over 9 gallons of clear oil based sealer on a new cedar fence. Whole project took less than 2 hours to do my side and neighbor's side of fence. I did not know how well this would work with oil based, many say they don't recommend using them, this didn't say one way or the other. For a fence, this worked Great. You do have to keep it pumped up but that's not surprising. It includes 3 tips, I used the blue one based on information on the box. I can understand why some may have puddling on a deck surface that would need brushed out but on a vertical surface and clear (transparent) stain/sealer, any runs just soaked in. I do think if it was a colored stain, it may have needed some brush work, but still would have worked well.
