I put a large bobber float above it, and it seems to work a lot better. The problem that I’ve had so far is this, even though some huge pike have struck it, they all seem to miss. I’m not sure why this is the case. Maybe they’re hitting the tail where there is no hook? But I have yet to catch a fish on it. Just the other day a 3 foot long pike jumped out of the water flipping in the air, but it still missed it. This is happened several times.
