Really well made, the finish is nice & I love the style. Because of the way the reservoir curves at the top I was somewhat worried when ordering that filling it might be a pain but its very easy & I like that I can just lift the top and fill it while it’s hanging. Other positives—Glass reservoir is very sturdy & unlike plastic it won’t get scratched up. The tray is a comfortable depth for even blue jays and a really entertaining squirrel (I’m fine with squirrels but if you aren’t probably not the right feeder). And, after a full day of steady rain the seed stayed dry and the tray drained well.

I looked all over for a sturdy metal birdfeeder, it took a squirrels is about three days to totally dismantle it, found it on the ground luckily the glass globe was not broken but everything else was. And when I say dismantled I mean it was in pieces and there is no way to put it back together I am very disappointed, I thought that after all the research and debating I finally found something that would be good for the birds and not for the Squirrels, I was wrong. I want to send it back but what’s the point? I doubt it’s fixable.

I do not like this birdfeeder. I did not think about it when I ordered it, but the bottom is just a large pan with no perch around it for the birds to sit on. The small birds are ok because there is plenty of room for them to more or less sit in the bird seed. The larger birds like the bluejays just don't seem to have anything to hang onto and they fall off. I get very little activity at this feeder because the majority of the birds just don't like it. I am getting it ready to send back.

When this arrived I was very pleased with the appearance and ease of filling. Now that I've had it awhile I can critique it in actual use. First, the seed in the tray will get wet in rain. The holes allow the water to escape, but even in brief, light rain the seed will get wet. A few days wet like that and the seed starts to grow mold on it so I have to pay attention to drying the seed in the tray before it gets wasted. The seed inside the feeder does stay dry though. Second, the "roof" on mine is starting to get streaks of rust on it. This is more dissappointing that the seed getting wet. I'm still pleased enough to rate it a 4, but this could have been an easy 5 but for those two issues.

This is a beautiful feeder. The mix of copper and glass will offer a classic touch to your outdoor space. Though I do like the feeder, I don’t care for the design of how the top affixes to the glass vessel. It makes it more difficult to fill, and the top does not fit tightly. Now this could be designed as such to deter squirrels, but I have not had a chance see that functionality in action. The feed dish is wide enough to allow larger birds to land, but if the feeder is low on seed, they may tip it slightly which will spill seed. Nevertheless, it’s a beautiful feeder, and I am glad that I added it to my garden.

Since I have multiple types of feeders at my feeding station and have at least 200 birds feeding regularly, this feeder is just a bit too small for my needs.I think this feeder would be ideal for feeding roughly 20-30 birds, however, and should be a great feeder for most back yards.The hanging wire for the feeder has a nice, large loop at the top for hanging on a hook or branch. The seed flows through quite nicely into the catch pan, thus birds can feed through either the seed ports or from the catch pan. The catch pan is just right for the smaller birds, such as sparrows and the like, but is a bit too small for larger birds such as doves.Overall, this seems to be a great wild bird seed feeder, and I highly recommend it. I just wish they also made a substantially larger feeder with a larger catch pan.

This bird feeder is amazing. It looks great, just like the photo. I have not had any issues with water build up that would cause the seeds to go bad. This thing is STURDY! We have a regular Yogi bear that has taken it down THREE times and it’s still going strong. I’m very happy with this product. Did I mention it’s bear proof? Not just a chump bear, this is like if your teddy bear had an eating problem while hooked on steroids, BIG mfr bear. He took it down THREE times, and it’s still in one piece. Highly recommend if you like the photo

Great smaller birdfeeder. It has wide holes for feed to flow out and larger dish/tray to hold loose feed and give birds a place to stop. Materials felt a little flimsy/cheap but so far has held up for all birds and shows no sign of wear thru a few storms now. Would highly recommend!
