Kipling Firefly Up Women’s Backpack, Silver (Metallic Glow), 22x31x14 Centimeters (B x H x T)

My mum bought this off the Kipling stall in our local shopping centre she loves it and recommend to me. I purchased the black version of this bag on Sunday. And I love it.

Really nice bag. Just the right size fit purse, phone (I have the iPhone XS and it fits in the dedicated tech slip pocket), a 500 ml bottle, a small umberella in the bottom, sunglasses (I have Ray Ban Clubmaster sunnies in their case). In the internal zipped pocket I keep a small hand gel and a lipstick/mascara with room to spare. It also fits a 6 key holder and a bag for life in the two front pockets. In the back zipper I place flat things like my diary/passport. I use this cross body and if the two arm straps are folded correctly they take up no room in their pouch at the back. I barely notice they’re there. It’s also a really nice shade of red. Not pillar box red. A bit darker than that with a hint of a plum/purple/raspberry tone. I will surely be getting this in black.

This is a super little rucksack! It weighs practically nothing & has pockets, zips & internal & external pouches in all the right places for both practicality & security. It’s a perfect size to hold a large purse, glasses case, keys (on an inside clip), phone - the things you need for a day out. If you need to carry a packed lunch then you’ll need to size up. The black zips on the True Black colouring makes it smart enough to use as a smart casual handbag with the detachable shoulder strap.

I now have several of these backpacks. This one is slightly different which I am pleased about. There is now a zip on the back and not only safer for my purse/bus pass/phone but easier to get to. I decided on the dazz grey. What a lovely colour goes with everything. For myself this backpack is great for every day plenty of room for the bits/pieces I carry about. For my days out will also carry any extras ie sandwiches/crisps/fruit. In all a useful practical backpack. This size backpack is probably for people who do not carry too much around.

I was so disappointed when I received my bag - I expected silver and it was a beigey-gold colour which I couldn't see the point of as there is already a gold/beige combo available. The main body of it was a pale gold and the straps were beige so if you want true silver, as I did, you'll be sadly disappointed. The bag is also quite small as well and if I'd kept it, I would have had a job getting all my day to day stuff in.A beautiful bag, very well made with lots of pockets and different sections plus a shoulder strap but if it's proper silver you're after, it'll end up getting sent back like mine did!

Thought this might be too small when I took it out of the packet but it holds much more than I thought. I already have many Kipling bags and ordered this as I find that I can't get enough in my Alvar. It is a lovely bright light grey and you could easily fit in a small water bottle, umbrella, purse and phone and other various small items. I love that there is a choice of across body strap or the normal rucksack double straps. Another excellent Kipling purchase.

Great little backpack and nice shimmery colour The price was o k too as some Kipling products can be too pricey. A medium size so you can get essentials in it but not too big so that it’s heavy when full. I always find Kipling products very long wearing so I hope this is sturdy too. I usually take this with me when I go on a bike ride as it’s perfect size.

I'm really impressed with this bag. I didn't want a huge backpack just something I could use as I would a handbag that I could wear for long periods of time and not worry about it falling off or shoulder ache. Its surprisingly roomy. It looks to be made wel, with no loose seams or thread. Haven't tested it out in the rain yet. I don't think I would pay full price for this item though.
