Takes Some "Getting Used To"
We previously had this exact model faucet as a "dumb faucet". I wanted to be able to tell my voice assistance to fill my stock pot so I bought the "smart version". In comparing the two there is a noticable delay when using the handle to turn on the faucet in comparison to the "dumb version". It's not a bad delay, but it is noticeable and a slight annoyance. The other thing to be aware of is that this only comes with a battery powered version of the faucet, if you want to hardwire it you need to buy the Moen 169031 which is rather expensive for what you get. FYI to hardwire you'll need to add an outlet under your sink by using your dishwasher's line since the garbage disposal is likely on a switch such that it can't be used.Other than those issues the waive over the faucet function is very nice when your hands are messy. It's also very convenient to be able to ask your voice assistant to fill up the stock pot that would normally take a long time waiting at the sink for. This frees you up to keep cooking and not needing to check in on the pot on whether it's finished filling which is very convenient. I like it now, it just takes some getting used to in order to not use the handle to turn it on which is a bit slower than the motion.

Motionsense has been updated for water temperature control in auto mode.Don't listen to older reviews that use the older version
I usually do not take the time to write reviews on products I have purchased but this faucet is awesome so I feel compelled to write this 5 star review. If you read some reviews you will notice that one negative feature that is constantly shared by owners is that you have to adjust the water temperature for the auto water feature at the control box under the sink. The reason I mention this is because Moen listens to reviews and has fixed that issue. If you buy a older version of any motionsense Moen faucet it will come with a grey control box which mounts under the sink. That older design box requires you to change temperature for the auto feature at the box. The newer versions of any Motionsense faucet by Moen comes with a black control box. With that version the water temp is set by the manual water control handle. Just put the water temp where you want it with the manual handle while the auto feature is dispensing water and leave it. You can adjust it using the handle while the water is running. Kudos to Moen for listening to consumers and updating this feature. Now, the only negative I can see is that the manual handle is also controlled by the Black electronic box under the sink. The reason I see that as negative is that if the black electronic box fails then even the manual handle will not produce water. Either way I just love this faucet. The 3 toilets in my home all use touch-less flush technology so I just had to buy this faucet especially since I have all Moen Brantford fixtures in my entire home. Just remember that with touch less technology there are always some negative nuances but as the technology evolves it just gets better and this faucet is the proof. One thing that I would like to see Moen change is the fact that this faucet has to be mounted with the control handle off to the right side. You cannot mount it with the handle in back, left or front. That is due to the sensor wiring running thru the goose neck but there are designs for wiring that Moen could utilize to get around this. I had to buy a very low deck height air gap for my dishwasher to be able to make room for the manual handle to function properly. Other reviewers have mentioned this and it is only a issue with the Motionsense version of this faucet. Also, if you feel the water pressure is not high enough then remove the restrictor assembly from the faucet before mounting. All in all this faucet is phenomenal and I am extremely happy with this purchase!!!

Gorgeous quality facuet with 2 sensors!
The media could not be loaded. OMG! When I opened the box and I put this in myself after my contractor cut off the old faucet, this is so aesthetically beautiful 🤩. I m a petite girl and 1st time ever in my life putting in a faucet and took me 45 mins and very proud of my myself. Thanks a lot to 1 of the reviewer who wrote instructions on how to fix the problem of the front Ready sensor so when I put my cup there or wish to wash my hands, it goes until I pull away. His instructions worked to fix the problem and I m super happy. Now the problem I have is the hose not able to retract itself even after I try to adjust the weight to different places near the yellow indicator at the beginning of the curvature as per instruction. Will see if I can figure out later. Overall I am very happy with this faucet. I got other cheaper faucets (under $200 but with 4.5 star rating no name brand) from Amazon and the sensor don’t work!! Pisted me off wasted time and $ paying handy man to install and found out senor not working at all even followed instructions. I m returning that defective one. However this failure leads me to look for brand name faucet and found out there are actual some have 2 sensors!! Even happier now! 😁

Looks great, disappointing performance
Replaced an older Kohler and liked the thought of having touchless when needed. Looks great (that's the only reason for the 3 stars). However, hot water flow is pitiful...from the first operation. Cleaned all screens, no help. Pitiful. After looking online and finally deciding on this faucet...thinking that without power, it would work...find out now that they "upgraded" the thing to only work with power. Bought the power adapter, so don't use the battery pack...so now if the power goes out, no water. I am not sure how this is an improvement (Moen...please let me know). The flow is "jerky" as it will get good pressure, then it will skip a beat, then flow again and pressure goes up and down. It's simply a faucet hooked up to water. This is crazy. Have fiddled with this stupid faucet trying to figure it out for two days, and it's still just pitiful with flow and operation. I regret paying this much for a headache. But, it looks great! Just very disappointed in this faucet. Goes to show, going smart isn't always going smart.

So good I bought 2
I purchased this faucet in 2020 and while Contractor was installing it, he told me it's the best and sturdious faucet he's installed. We've since purchased another house and while in the middle of reno's, I've just purchased a second faucet for our new home. Let me save you the search time, BUY THIS MOEN MODEL, it's top quality and is a joy to use. (no raincoat required using this product)

Looks and works great, but required about a month to install
My story with this faucet.Initial order arrived fast and was well packed. I invited licensed plumber who installed faucet in less than hour. It appeared great. But it did not work! :((No light in sensor. No response to hand movement. Manual handle also did not work. In other words I got beautiful and expensive faucet that doesn't let the water to pass thru it!Called Moen support. Waiting time just to place complaint - 3 hours! Fortunately you can leave your phone number to them and they call you back.Explained problem. Heard "sorry" and promise to send me new box. Arrival time in a month.Called Amazon. Very friendly lady told me that replacement faucet will be delivered in 2-3 days. Next day Amazon web site showed delivery time in about month .Can you survive month without water in your kitchen?I visited Lowe's store and purchased good faucet for $80. Looks very similar to $500 Moen faucet, bit without sensor. Called plumber to remove Moen faucet and to install "cheap" faucet.Celebrate holidays and New Year with this temporary faucet. Waited few weeks more.Replacement arrived from Amazon.Called plumber again to remove $80 faucet and to install Moen faucet. Again. This time Moen faucet was working :)))Good news.Faucet is great. Works perfectly. Looks great. Very responsive and convenient. Has timer for self-shut off after about 1 minute of work. Water pressure is OK. Nice shower switch. Head jumps to faucet perfectly. The only problem I noted - it does not respond to the hand movement if I wear black glove. Blue, yellow, transparent gloves are OK. But no response to black gloves.Overall 3*. If it worked from beginning it be absolutely 5*. Unfortunately problem with control box and delayed delivery lowered stars to 3.

... been using the faucet for about a month+ and love it, especially the top sensor
We have been using the faucet for about a month+ and love it, especially the top sensor. Once in awhile we forget about the bottom sensor and get a shot of water on us but besides that we hardly ever use the handle except to change temperature once in awhile. We usually leave the temperature at quite warm and I do cook a lot so easy clean up with just putting my gooey hands under the faucet to clean them and away I go. It came with the new control box that you can change the temperature with the handle, that seems like a better idea then the old control box that you have to go under the sink to change the water temperature, which is mentioned in the older reviews. Our old faucet was a regular one but what we didn't like was the temperature was hard to regulate, it was either too hot or too cold and my husband would complain about it all the time. This faucet seems to regulate the water well.It was a debate whether to get a regular faucet or bite the bullet and pay more to get the motion sense. All in all quite pleased so far as long as it lasts many many years lol.
