Wonderful sweet family escapism with superheroes and real heroes and family heroics examined....and rhymes. :-D I The movie was delightful and found me and others JUST right now when we need all good energies supported. Quality cast, and filming skills and just plain nice. YES - what a huge relief from ... the otherstuff.Jim Belushi appears and you know the movie is going to be ok. Yes."Humble and Lovable Shoeshine Boy", the original Underdog secret identity, is how this movie probably got slammed for racism and/or child labor laws, but the rest of the story is a DARLING!I remember, as a child, along with Rock and Bullwinkle cult madness...we'd run around our home calling out "There's no need to fear! UNderdog is here!" Such silly fun!Do not miss it.

This is just an overall great movie, and I'm old, almost ancient. This dog can rap!The movie is appropriate for most ages, I can't imagine it really scaring any child, but I definitely know a class of fourth graders LOVED it.

We really 🥰 love this movie! Family Friendly about a dog 🐶. Very cute little guy is turned into a super hero! No cussing, no using the Lord’s name in vain! We love ❤️ dogs(can y’all tell?). It was a great movie for the price. If y’all have the chance and like 🐶 dogs we highly recommend this movie. We thank y’all and God Bless!

I'm usually not a fan of movies with real animals and voice overs, but this movies was a pleasant surprise. I found this on HBO, watched it, and liked it enough to add it to my collection. It has an excellent cast and is just an enjoyable journey, especially if you remember the original underdog! It follows the life of a dog who undervalues himself and through happy accidents, discovers his real worth and the love he was searching for. Put it on when you need a break from reality, it has enough humor throughout to bring a smile to your face.

Not much to say about this remake in movie format of a classic cartoon. It was good. My child and I enjoyed it. Thanks!

I took my little brother (who's not little anymoe) to this movie the same week it opened in theaters!!!! That first time We saw it, it kind of scared us. But here we are right now in the year 2020. I recently watched it again with free Amazon movies on demand, and this time I actually started to appreciate a lot better!!! It's a movie that I wouldn't mind owning at all!!!!!

Great family movie! Something to enjoy watching with the kids.

I was stopped in my tracks by this movie. I had no intentions of watching it but it showed up on my television one morning on the Disney channel as I was about flip over to the news. In all honest this is really a good movie; (3 1/2 to 4 star movie)for all of us young and old that have fill the shoes (I should say the paws) of feeling like an "underdog". You can't help but to root for underdog as he saves the day and builds a strong relationship between a father and his son. This movie will not only have you feeling good but it will have you laughing. It's a movie that you will want to watch over and over again; that why I had to purchase it.

My autistic son is going through a phase of watching dog movies and he loves this movie. After watching on prime I bought the DVD as have had to watch it often since then!!It is usual Disney fare with a Villan (with physical disabilities- well done Disney continuing your dreadful discriminatory stereotypes ) who is experimenting in genetic engineering.A hapless beagle, just fired from a job as a police dog gets involved in an accident giving him superpowers and get adopted by an ex policeman James Belushi and his son.The Villan tries to get him back and also take over the city and lots of fun adventures occur.Not one of my favourites but good clean family fun and my son loves this and we have watched it soooooooo many times!!

This is a perfect family film. Villains, Good guys (or dogs) and lots of talking animals. What more could you ask for in a family film?The main character is a beautiful Beagle, who I just loved to see strutting around with his lovely little baggy face. As it's for families or children, it is only a short film, and not very heavy on story, but regardless it is very nice and a very positive film to watch. It helps to bring the family together, both on set, and at home.

Just shows what great films you can miss at certain times of your life. This was released when my children were teenagers and not interested in such films, I missed it completely, just happened to find it while looking at entertainment for my Grandsons, they love it. Especially the 4 year old, he runs around for days rescuing people and shouting "Never Fear Underdog is Here", and loves to speak in rhyme now!!
