I had hoped for a better setup out of the box, two of the strings were not on the bridge correctly. But once I finished setting it up it was eye-opening.It doesn't sound like any other guitar I have. Much louder high-mid and treble. Clean tone can seem harsh, the piezo in particular. So that's great if you a pushing through a long signal path, really pulls it through with a lot of detail and texture. No need for a treble booster, but depending on your rig, you might want to get an equalizer. The 24.75 scale with 9.5 radius is very comfortable to play. I love it.
