Got this to help circulate water in 10gal saltwater tank. Way more power than I expected. Had to pull it out of tank. Carpet anemone kept running from it.

The entire thing is made of super cheap plastic. The fan out connection piece 1. does a nothing. It doesn't help spead or manipulate the flow in any way at all, 2. Isn't even big enough to fit on the pump and breaks immediately. The cage is also flimsy and needs a sponge filter. The pump itself seems ok. It creates a weak flow stream which is all I wanted. Haven't pulled the internals out yet to check on the quality of parts but will update if there is any future issues.

I purchased this item as an upgrade for my 20L axolotl tank. Currently have a 60 gallon sponge filter powered with a simple airtube/airpump. I figured attaching this powerhead to the sponge filter would be just the thing to filter water more effectively!Well.This little powerhead is crazy powerful.My axolotls, who prefer no to little currents, were finding it difficult to stay in one place. I fiddled around with the outake nozzle, but made little progress. This powerhead works TOO well.Luckily, I have a 40 gallon tank that has a moderate dead spot with my current filtration setup. This powerhead did just the trick! No more dead spot!I recommend this product, but just be mindful of the size of the tank you're using it for.

Good Product for this price range. It is very powerful and circulates the water well for a 20G tank. The inline for air is an added advantage and you get to choose how much air you want to pump into your tank. As others mentioned, I haven't face any issue with the suction cup yet.I would have rated this product a five star, but the nozzle cap cracked while assembling it for the first time. I have to hot glue it to make it stay. Do not want to return it as it is a very minor damage.

Earlier version of this were great. Lasted 7+ years running 24/7. All the parts fit well. These are terrible. The cone to connect to the 1" tube is thin plastic and does not fit well - it's too tight. So I promptly broke those. I had to use waterproof rubber tape to attach them. The diverter that goes on the output nozzle is too small. That also cracked when I tried to put it on. When I taped that on, the diverter doesn't hold its' position - I wanted it downward - and about a 1/4 of the flow goes up because of a gap between the diverter and nozzle. The old ones were perfect. I wish I kept the old ones for parts, as the pump works good. It's the cheap plastic cone and terribly designed diverter that make these POS. Never buying these aagain.

Bought this to use on our 10 gallon tank but upon opening the package, the larger size as well as the quality of the power head were obvious. We replaced the power head on our 40 gallon tank with this and was pleasantly surprised with the amount of oxidation it produced. We would definitely purchase from this company again.

I love it was a great purchase. My pump on my sunsun canister filter went out and I just plugged The hose into the inlet of the canister pump End it is working so perfect so it was a lifesaver
