Before You Meet Prince Charming: A Guide to Radiant Purity Review: Nicely Written without being Graphic - Nicely written without being too graphic and age appropriate for a Christian teenager. Recommend for a parent or parents to read first so there can be a discussion once your teen has competed the reading. Review: Great Book for Moms & Daughters to share - This a a wonderfully written book that goes to the heart of the issue of purity - emotional purity. It is not a legalistic list of rules to follow, rather a different way of viewing romantic relationships that begin the foundation for a healthy and wholesome marriage later. Our society has shown no restraint in unleashing damaging ideas about boys, dating, marriage, etc. This book gives parents a great starting point with their daughters (and even sons) to counteract these harmful, yet accepted, views from our culture. Any parent interested in equipping their daughters to be ready for marriage should add this book to their resources they can depend on. There are many practical ideas that parents can consider in their quest to raise fully equipped, Christian women. I would suggest this book to parents of girls ages 8 and up.

If you have a teen or pre-teen daughter, get this book!
What I like about this book is that my pre-teen daughter can read this book without being defiled with information or examples that are not appropriate for her age or experience. I actually benefited from some of the advice because the principles are applicable all, e.g. trust, patience, etc. It is also great for opening communication with your daughter even if you don't come from the same background as the author. Get it before your daughter is in trouble. I read a friend's copy and am ordering it for my daughter right away. [Update: Both of my daughters appreciated the book.] Possible objections to the book? If you do not want a somewhat conservative Christian perspective, you might not like this book. If you don't like "swarmy" stories, you might not appreciate the fairy tale part of this book. This book is also probably not for you if you don't want your daughter thinking about the possibility of marriage in the future (but then you probably wouldn't be considering this book anyway).

Amazing book
I was gifted this book and will now buy it for every young lady I know. It is a fantastic book to help young ladies learn to spend their young years wisely and not be absorbed with boys, but know their purpose as a daughter of Christ. This book is a great fit for ladies from 8yrs old to about 12 yrs old in my opinion. Fantastic book!

Beautiful
I have an 11 year old daughter who is in middle school. The phrase "My friend is dating so and so" is a phrase I hear often. What does it really mean for an 11 year old to be dating, well I am not really sure. What I am sure of is that, it is obvious that many of these very young girls and boys are developing an interest in the opposite sex. It would be my guess that parents are not looking down the road to what this really means. I was interested in boys at a very early age. I was not given guidance on having a pure relationship or coached on the repercussions of early relationships and how they would effect me long term. This book says it beautifully. It is written for the pre teen to teen who is thrown into a world of thinking you must have a boyfriend to be acceptable. It coaches you through using a story about a princess and then following each chapter there is a life application portion. The story is so well written you can't wait to see how it turns out. I recommend every parent to read the book and see for yourself how moving and touching the story of someone who chose to wait makes a differnce. It is an encouragement to all.

God's design for young women
This is an amazing book my daughters and I went through last fall. Though the title suggests the end result is to get married, it talks about following God's calling on your life. If your heart's desire is to be married, it talks about building your relationship with Christ and filling your time by serving the Lord instead of filling your time with worldly pursuits. We thought it was very well written and kept my girls interest. In my opinion it would be a wonderful book for ages 11-30!! It really was a great read for any girl in the years before marriage.

Brilliant!
Miss Mally's book is brilliant! Reasons I love this book: 1. She quotes ONLY King James Version of the Bible 2. The story at the beginning of each chapter was sweet, and helpful. 3. She gave good warnings about protecting physical purity, while being discreet so that younger girls could read it as well. 4. The focus is falling in love with the Savior, not fixing yourself up for a man. 5. She mentions that a man may never come, but that we are to be satisfied with our heavenly Prince, and that a life of single service to God is truly fulfilling. 6. She gave touching personal testimonies. This book is perfect for girls and women of all ages. The portrait of purity is stunning and inspiring! There's not a single negative thing I can say about this book!

I would recommend this book to any woman or girl no matter their marital status. I think it is a heartfelt study of why relationships are important, but leads one to examine the self and why we were created, to see the gift that singleness is in relation to the gift of marriage. Sarah's tone is conversational and loving, I really believe that having written this book indicates how she cares for us, girls who are a little unsure of our value in or out of a relationship. She points to God as the final authority, and has helped me make up my mind to let the Lord arrange my marriage.
