This raincoat is seriously the most darling thing ever! Ellie Dog Wear really hit it out of the park! The sizing was very accurate and the quality is on-pointe! This is a legitimate raincoat with a nice liner inside - a functioning zipper AND snap closure, pull-string tighteners, a very cute hood, and faux-pockets on the back. It's almost too cute to handle. I can't get enough of my pup in this adorable coat. The best part is that this might actually be a better quality (not to mention cuter) raincoat than my own.As far as function, it works great to help protect her under-belly a little better when walking in the rain and she kicks up all the muddy rainwater from puddles and such. And, from the top, it works just like a regular raincoat - except she doesn't really like the hood (but that has nothing to do with the raincoat she's just not a hood-wearin' kind of pup). I'm just so happy I bought this, I highly recommend it to anyone interested. SO CUTE - see the picture if you want proof!

This is a sturdy little slicker. With this jacket and rubber Pawz, my dog will actually go out in the rain and even walk through shallow puddles. His response to inclement weather before this raincoat and his booties was to run and hide under the couch. To me, the best feature of this jacket would be the heavy duty snaps so that I don't have to rely on zipping up my dog and accidentally catching his hair in the zipper teeth. The lining makes this coat something that could be worn into the early fall season. It's terribly cute.I do wish the manufacturer would expand their size diversity, as my dog is and will always be between sizes (between XS and S). The XS coat fits around his torso perfectly, but does not fully cover him lengthwise, leaving his butt and tail exposed to the rain. I've read other reviews to size up in this circumstance, but the amount of loose material in the larger option would make for an even more improper fit. It would require significant tailoring. I chose the XS for my dog and there is still room in the chest to layer a lightweight shirt or onesie. For us, this is the better decision, as my dog can can move around well with this amount of fabric and he doesn't seem to mind his bum sticking out. He is really petit and I think that given the stiffness of the fabric and liner, the size S would be too much weight for his little body to push around.

I bought this raincoat (size XL) for my siberian husky. She is 10 months old and 40lbs. The coat is a little big for her but I figured she will grow into it. It is well made and is a light weight material. Also the zipper and button quality is great! It was easy to put on and take off of my dog. She didn't mind wearing it at all. There is a small slit behind hood so the your dog can wear the jacket with the hood while the leash is on. Expect the slit for the leash was too small. I couldn't fit my leash through it. But that is my only small complaint! Everything else about the raincoat is great.

I am giving three stars because we like the product a lot, but the gap in sizing between the S and M is too big and neither size fit our dog. The coat is adorable and seems well made. It is also practical since it covers more of the dog's underside, which gets soaked from splashing (a big issue with most dog raincoats). Despite liking the product, the sizing gap between the S and the M is too much for our dog, who falls in between sizes. Both sizes technically fit (in that we could get them on him), but neither fit in a way that worked practically. The medium was cute albeit a little baggy and would have covered him from the rain..... unfortunately the underside extended too far and he would have peed inside the raincoat. Needless to say this wouldn't work. Since we loved the raincoat itself, we tried again by ordering the S (next size down). The S size was TOO small. We could get it on him, but only with difficulty. Moreover, it only covered about half of his body....so the back of him would be soaked in the rain. Really wish they had a size between the S and M. As a note, our dog is a 13lb yorkie/maltese mix. Only other note is that dog coats with zippers need cloth on the inside to help prevent hair from getting stuck in the zipper.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I have a corgi beagle mix and she looks so ridiculously adorable in this raincoat. I got her a medium size and it fits pretty well. The top few inches of her chest area won't zip up all the way but I expected that, since she naturally has a larger chest area. She surprisingly wasn't trying to rip it off of herself like she does her other shirts, so it must mean it's fairly comfortable. The quality of the jacket is super nice and the stripes on the inside make it even more adorable. There's a hole at the back of the jacket for the leash and I has little pockets where I've been storing her treats and poo bags. I live in Seattle so this is going to be extremely handy 70% of the year. She hates walking in the rain and it was a problem last winter because she only wanted to go potty in my house and when she actually did go outside, she would come back in smelling like wet dog, and nobody likes wet dog! This jacket is going to bring some brightness to the gloom. I love it! All I need are some cute doggy rain boots and we're set.

I’ve been looking for a dog coat of this style for ages. After having tried various children coats I had just about given up. I was so happy when this arrived. The coat fits great, is excellent quality and looks amazing too. The harness hole is an added bonus too! Plus, there’s actual pockets to store things in- how cute!

This coat is both practical and fashionable!! It’s just beautiful! I’ve spent a lot of time looking for a decent coat and this one is worth every penny! It kept my dog dry and warm on a very rainy walk! The fit is great! The toggles around the back and hood really help to get a good fit! I had to role the arms up as they were a little long for my Jack Russells legs but it just even more fabulous!And the pockets are a great little touch! Can not fault this item! Delivery was fast too!!

The coat arrived promptly, its beautiful, and very well made. Unfortunately the medium size is a bit too small for my 11 Kg cockapoo, so it won't fasten at the neck (which would leave a patch of chest to get wet when a smallish dog is splashing along on a wet day). Also I found it fiddly trying to fasten the zip underneath her without trapping fur in the zip, and of course it doesn''t cover the back legs at all. I think my dog may be between sizes, so sadly I shall need to return the coat. Her fleece 'onesie' type of coat is not quite so pretty but is more practical.

Looks great can’t wait for another rainy walk fed up Molly getting so wet this will be fab , my only problem after use I gotta the coat I wish it had loops to put around the back legs , yes it has a draw string , but the wind blows the back of the coat up .my laser rain coat had these loops , but not a hood , hence me buying this coat .think I will sew some on my self , I don’t like the big string tie idea , but do love the coat , the hood keeps going over my dogs eyes , maybe should wear without the hood ,even so I a. Happy with my purchase

It's honestly one of the worst products I have ever purchased from Amazon. For this price you can easily get two more functional dog jackets instead of this poorly made one. It looks good until your dog gets the smallest amount of mud on it. After that no matter what you do, it is impossible to wash. I would give 0 stars if I could.
