good quality materials. Picture quality is nice.

Buy the sample!
Glad I ordered a sample; didn't like the picture it produced with a ceiling mounted Epson w/ 2000 lumens. If I had a 3,000 lumens projector... this might have worked. The increased black level were nice, but the overall picture became too dim.

The angle from projector must match the angle to viewing location
Unfortunately mine only showed up with the gray material. Overall I'm pretty impressed. I think the key thing that I've not seen anyone mention is angle. This material seems to do a fantastic job reflecting the image to you if your seating position matches the angle the projector is firing from. Classic angle of incidence = angle of reflection. For example if your projector is at 8ft high, and the center of your screen is at 6ft high, assuming your sitting the same distance from the screen the projector is, your image should look great. The material seems quite sensitive to angles to preserve highlight luminance. If you look at the photos, you can see that the highlights are nearly as bright as on the white wall, while the contrast is quite good in comparison to the wall. This is with lights on and I was careful to match my angle from screen to projector. In the end if your angles are correct you will be happy. If they don't, that's why people are saying it is washed out. I'd bet they are projecting from lower down and seating lower down compared to the screen.

READ CAREFULLY
I believed that I was going to get two full sized ones because in the video it showed how big it was and then placing wood to do the sizing and things. Overall I would say this is false advertisement.

Excellent samples,highly recommended
Pro: 1. Samples are pretty huge, 4 times the size of the samples I received from a different vendors.2. The size is big enough for put on the world to do a test projection on3. The screen material is very good and much better than others.Cron: None,

one of the two screens arrived with damage
I purchased this to make a portable screen for my pico style projector. The white screen was clean and perfect and would be suitable for dimmer small projectors for when the image is projected on a larger screen, however the grey low gain screen that I intended to use with my bright 800 lumen projector had a curved 3-4 inch slice through the top grey layer in the bottom middle and a deformed bump on the middle left like something hard stretched the material from behind. It was packaged this way and was not shipping damage. Ignore the rainbow effect in the included photo as the projector I used was a DLP type. The image I posted is just to show the defects. The actual color of the image on the screen was consistent to the human eye. The grey screen would have been perfect for my intended use as it does help reject ambient light and improves the contrast/black levels when used close to the projector while muting the excessive brightness that happens when the image projected is much smaller is recommended. I have requested a replacement so I will update on the quality when that arrives. I know this is just a sample product, but I am surprised they would ship a defective representation of the screen material they sell. Doesn't really inspire confidence in buying a larger screen cut.

Maybe decent but not for laser tech
So, I got the grey sample to try with my new Nexigo Tri-beam Ultra projector. I was hoping it would be less silver and more a flat grey but itโs way too reflective for anything with lasers I would think. Iโve tried this and also I had a silver screen before I got the Nexigo and the fact is that despite the multiple light source system designed to reduce speckle, youโre still limited to certain screen types. On a cinewhite screen it looks perfect, but on this material thereโs speckle.Probably fine for non laser systems but lasers seem to be where this is going. The gray is more silver than not here so unless you can accommodate a silverish screen, try something else.

Good product but need to handle with care
I ordered this sample and it contains 2 screen material: one white + one gray, and they are well packaged in a plastic tube.I donโt have an existing screen to compare with, so I just compared the samples with some material I have (A4 paper, wall, white cloth, white door). Figure 2 shows the original color of my testing material. And you can see the comparison of their performance in Figure 1 & 3, from LEFT to RIGHT: 1) white screen material; 2) A4 paper; 3) gray screen material; 4) white cloth; 5) white door, and the back ground is my "popular gray wall". I prefer the white one because it gives a sharper and bright view (note: I am using a EPSON home cinema 2250 projector). Iโd like to mention that the screen material need to be handled with care and donโt fold it, otherwise you may get wrinkles (looks like permanent wrinkles).I think the samples are good and large, and allows one to test before making decision, so I am giving it a 4 star. Knocking off 1 start due to the fact that it is very easy to create wrinkles.

Top quality
I got this to replace my orlder screen but did not work for me. The item is or realy good quality and nice looking. For me did not work out as I found the contrast with MY projector wasnt that good either white or grey. But the qualoty of the picture was awesome.

Buy the samples first!
On the images: a unpainted drywall surface, white sample on bottom right and silver sample in center or top left. The white sample does nothing more than a white painted wall. The silver-gray sample... It improve the image contrast by giving blacks more black and whites more white, BUT, only in the center of the image... The silver finish acts like a mirror, so the image is bright in the center and grey on the edges as you can see in the picture. At least it limits a lot the spread of lights on the ceiling and walls. If the fabric is not perfectly flat, it will be noticeable. You MUST buy the samples first before buying the big thing. It could be a good choice if your picture is not 100" or 120" and you don't have a white wall.

Great product variable availability
I bought the samples to test out what would be good for my needs both offered a significant improvement even allowing for enough abiant light to allow for doing taskes while watching almost at tv levels with a cheap projector o definitely preferred the grey however when I returned they did not have it in stock I sure hope it comes back. This shop might be a get it while it's hot. 5 stars on product 4 for availability will upgrade of it comes back into stock

high quality
test sheets showed up quickly, glad I ordered as I i would have ordered the wrong color thinking grey would be better, but for my particular setup i liked the look of the white more.
