Fault part is now stuck!
The media could not be loaded. Design is a good idea however the middle bolt with a locking mechanism is now stuck. If you lock it it’ll turn to prevent somebody from stealing it no problem. However if it is unlocked in order to be removed it does not grip the bolts underneath and turns as if it were locked. meaning I cannot return this device because I cannot take it off my spare tire without breaking the mechanism if someone can just please send me a new bolt with the locking part attached I can break off the current one and replace with a new working part. There is no way for me to upload pictures or a video of what’s going on for a refund it just wants me to send it back but I can’t send them back because it’s stuck to my car. Video shows proof

Once fitted, it's a sturdy piece of equipment.
Ony surprise was that the manufacturer printed the logo upside down, which was a bit confusing initially, but have had no problems since installing it and carrying two bikes regularly.

Fine for the price point!
The media could not be loaded. This bike rack is a nice, well-constructed piece of equipment. It is not a Yamaha or Thule— but it is 50%+ cheaper. The instructions were fine. I have no idea why others couldn’t understand them. The components are sturdy. The spinner on the bolt that tightens it works fine; that said, it should be metal and made heavier. This is the main weakness. However, it functions fine. When the spinner is locked, it spin freely— as it should. When it is unlocked, the spinner bites and you can take the rack off or tighten it back on. It is well designed, other than this piece, but it is NOT a deal breaker— especially for the price.

Lock rushed shut, couldn't easily get to my spare
Got a flat tire and found out that I couldn't get to my spare tire because the locking mechanism was rusted shut. Had to pop the lock off and now I don't have a bike rack that I can safely secure back on to my spare. Prior to this the bike rack worked fine. Folding the arm down was a bit of a pain sometimes, but all in all it did what it needed to do. Only had this thing for about a year. Will be looking for a different bike rack.

Looks and feels well made BUT ITS NOT !!! Went on easy but I can’t remove it see video
The media could not be loaded. The first time I went to remove it from my jeep the knob that holds it on simply spins ,does not loosen and the key does nothing . After reading some other reviews this appears to be a common problem. So if you want a permanently mounted bike rack that won’t let you access You’re spare tire , then your in luck look no furtherIf you want to know what the problem is , or need to know how to remove the rack see the video

Great buy and very happy with this rack.
Bought this about 6 weeks ago and waited to review, so far so good and overall good quality and fits 2 bike comfortable and no issues at all.
