**Q: Does this product work well on nubuck?**
A: Yes. But this product is not an industrial strength  cleaner. It cleans light soil.  You can't wait until the shoes are deeply marred with dark streaks and expect this product to clean all of the dark marks off. I clean my light colored suede or nubuck shoes every second time I wear them and they stay looking new. It is well worth the effort.

**Q: Is it safe and effective for Birkenstock suede footbeds?**
A: So far I have used it on almost everything and I have had no problems. It very gentle on all materials as long as you use a very soft brush. It's worth the try so far I have not had any issues. I mainly use on all types of shoes and sometimes car interiors that are cloth or suede.

**Q: Why does it say not to saturate?**
A: It's not intended for one to saturate with cleaner but rather use the foam from the shaken bottle. I personally use very little when cleaning my shoes.

**Q: will this cleaner remove an oil stain from timberland boots?**
A: to some extent! I use my timberlands when I ride my motorcycle, and I have oil scuff marks near the toe because of the gear paddle, and I used this cleaner to clean the shoes, it did clean the stain and reduced it to just a hazy black spot.HTH

Used this cleaner to clean up my 20+ year old Birkenstocks that had never been cleaned before. While I was at it, I used it to clean a couple of pairs of suede Toms also, plus some other leather and fabric shoes not pictured. This cleaned gently and effectively, removing dirt that I had not yet been able to get out using a wire suede brush and sandpaper from the suede. I followed the instructions to use only the foam and to apply it with a sponge. Then I followed that with a final fluffing with 80-grit sandpaper. My shoes look brand new! My only complaint is that it is hard to get the foam out of the bottle. When the bottle is full, there’s not enough air to get much foam. When the bottle is about half empty, it’s hard to squeeze the foam out. I wish it came in a more flexible bottle or that it had a pump-type dispenser.
