Satisfies your 2G phone needs
Dumb me bought a new/cheap replacement phone for my old aunt in a care home, but didn't read all the description paragraphs, right at the bottom it states this phone ONLY operates on networks offering 2G, e.g. T-Mobile UK, O2 UK, and Vodafone UK (all others use 3G or higher). I searched for a 2G sim and saw this one, giffgaff runs on O2, sim ordered, got it the next day (earlier than stated), phone saw giffgaff network right away, really easy to register/activate said sim on the giffgaff site. Old aunt now has a working phone again and is very happy indeed.

Great value sim card and excellent value price plans available.
I've never used GiffGaff before, so decided to send for a couple of sim cards, as they are only 1p each. One certainly can not grumble about the price, even if you decide this network is not for you. However, you do not know the number until you do the following:1. Register for a GiffGaff account with your email address - You will be sent a link with your username.2. Follow the link, where it gives you a choice of plans which are quite good value (for example for ยฃ10 per month you can get 3GB of data, unlimited calls and unlimited texts - (for example, 3 offer 2GB and unlimited calls/texts for ยฃ10).3. (This is the tricky bit)... You need to supply your full details, including name and address and debit/credit card details for your recurring plan cost to be deducted monthly.4. However - not to fret, you can chose the voucher option, where you can purchase your voucher from most retail outlets. So you simply input the voucher number which will top up your mobile and deduct the amount you chose for your plan from your voucher amount but you also need to input your name and address before activation is completed and upon doing that, your sim is activated and available to use.So you won't know your number until all of this is completed.Plans can be changed at any time and do seem 'very' reasonable compared to other networks.

EXCELLENT! Fantastic communication through the set up.
ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT! I contacted this seller as I was having a problem trying to connect to the Internet. I'm not really technical, so contacted the customer service. They helped me set up my router ( bought from another company) and now we have Internet. I don't usually write reviews but felt I needed to because.of the patience and customer care provided by this sellerI CAN'T RATE THEM HIGHLY ENOUGH. FANTASTIC.

Complete and Utter Rip-off
This is incredible!I just activated this SIM, which required me to pay ยฃ10 and register all of my personal details, just for a PAYG facility. The Amazon listing promised a free ยฃ5 addition to the initial credit payment. This has not materialised, so this SIM is being mis-sold on that basis alone. However, the real con is that I made a call to a phone which I knew would not be answered and indeed it was not. So, an unconnected call. Yet, GiffGaff took a staggering TWENTY FIVE PENCE for this non-call! That surely must be unlawful. In fact, so inscensed am I about this that I will be making a formal complaint to Ofcom as this has simply got to be illegal. It would appear that GiffGaff are not only rip-off merchants, but acting unlawfully too.
