Aura Cacia Sandalwood Essential Oil in Jojoba Oil, 0.5 fl. oz., Woodsy, Balsamic-Like Aroma for Skin Care & Centering

Sandalwood oil can be very expensive so usually I buy it diluted with a carrier oil. This sandalwood oil is excellent in my diffuser and I also use it with vanilla essential oil to create a nice perfume scent. If you just inhale the scent from the bottle you are really not getting the full effect. This is much more highly scented once it goes into the diffuser. Since this is one of my favorite scents I use it up faster than other essential oils. So I'm glad it is affordable and that it is wonderfully aromatic.

Love this sandalwood essential oil! It smells AMAZING!!! I wear it like perfume and get tons of compliments. The scent is pure, earthy and wonderful, and not at all overwhelming. 2 drops on your wrists or neck is all you need and the scent lingers all day. Love it! Good price and fast delivery with Prime. Would absolutely buy again. Much better smelling than other sandalwood oils I've purchased in the past Definitely recommend this if you love sandalwood!

I usually buy from reputable brands, and I thought this was one of them. I have other products of theirs that smell wonderful. However, this one's scent is hardly perceptible. The other oils I've bought are not mixed with a carrier oil like this one is, so I didnt expect it to be as strong, but its so faint that its even light when you sniff straight from the bottle up close. I tried to use it for air freshener in a vehicle, and even after pouring the maximum amount, twice, the scent is negligible - even in an enclosed space. Very disappointed.

When I first got it, I was disappointed because the smell was very faint. Eventually, about a year later I decided to use it up and try a different brand. I used it as a hair oil for my dry scalp instead of the castor bean oil I've been purchasing. It turns out that the carrier "oil" this brand uses is jojoba, which is more expensive, doesn't go rancid as fast, and is actually easier to apply and doesn't turn my hair into a sticky mess like the castor does. The bottle size and dispenser are perfect to get a few drops on my fingers to run in. Then I noticed that it has a great sandalwood smell, but only because of the bottle agitation and amount I use. End result is that I love it but I am using it up way too fast because now I'm addicted to it! My main complaint is that as a daily use item, I would have to get it on subscription and anything over $8-10 per month is excessive. I wish at this point I could get either economy size amounts of it or make my own from jojoba oil and sandalwood extract. By the way, Sandalwood is related to mistletoe, a "parasitic" vine. I'm seriously contemplating starting my own farm if I can't get a square deal from the essential oil vendors on Amazon.

Love this scent. Smells sorta like vetiver, dry grassy smell, with a woody smell like cedar wood. For the price of Sandalwood, I probably will stick to vetiver and cedarwood simply because they smell similar and I like vetiver most of all. Otherwise, if you like this scent, it's good.

Subtle but present.

I only purchase this brand of essential oils due to this company's excellent quality control. This blend is especially beneficial to aging skin plus it smells wonderful. I use a few drops nightly along with Aura Cacia Rosehip oil on my face. It hydrates my skin wonderfully with no irritation. I have extremely sensitive skin & am unable to use any manufactured skin formulas as they all cause redness & itching.

As advertised, this is a *blend to make the sandalwood oil more affordable. This makes the scent very very light. It is not suitable to add to a massage oil or other body product as the scent would be pretty much indistinguishable. Other benefits from the actual chemical profile would likely be rendered minimal if not ineffective as well. As it is, I use it uncut in aromatherapy jewelry such as a necklace pendant with felt oil pad. In this way it is a pleasant but not overwhelming. Be aware- this is a highly diluted oil blend. It is good quality for a blend but I will be saving up or asking santa for the good stuff- lol.

Not strong smell and doesn’t fix too much. Not worth the price

I'm just in love with Aura cacia.....period.
