Luck Lab8 Inch Dice Tray – Green - with Lid and Dice Staging Area for RPG Table Top Gaming- Tree of Life Design

I just received this tray and have yet to use it in game, however, I did spend about 20 minutes tumbling various dice to get a feel for it. I'm excited to deploy it on my next campaign session.Overall appearance: As shown, with solid craftsmanship and a good fit on the lid. I have 3 sets of dice in the storage ring area with room for possibly 2 more sets. The lid holds well but does not snap on, so it may open if dropped or jostled in a bag. I recommend sandwiching it between books or other items of like size for added lid security during transport. The look and feel of the tray are high quality. No loose seams or blemishes.Performance: The center arena has a soft surface on a firm foundation, which seems to provide a good balance between tumble and absorption of a roll. I've cast dice on leather (absorbs too much, dice do not tumble well) and into a cardboard game box lid (doesn't absorb at all, dice tumble well but meh, it's just a box lid). Casting dice into the arena of this tray has a very satisfying effect as they strike the wall and settle.This tray would make a great gift for yourself or the tabletop nerd in your life. I intend to purchase some for my party as an end of campaign gift. There are no apparent flaws in quality, considering the low cost of this item.

Gorgeous, solid, and substantial.

I spent a long time looking at dice trays before I finally picked this one. I thought this one might be slightly smaller than others I'd looked at. I also wasn't sure what kind of lining the lid would have.Overall I have been pleasantly surprised by what I received! A few things worth noting:- The overall size is larger than I was expecting it to be. If you see my photos, I included a ruler to show that the base is closer to 8.5". The interior portion is 5.75" to 6", depending if you include the inner wall or not.- The inner portion is lower than the outer ring, so the dice aren't too deep so you can easily pluck them out.- The lid may not have a colored lining as other dice trays do, but it IS padded in the same way the main "arena" is! You can roll your dice in the tray and it won't clatter loudly.Only two other thoughts that I feel worth mentioning:- The product image of the interior tree design almost looks like it might be foil, as it is on the lid. It is NOT actually shiny or foil, but is instead a matte finish. This does not bother me at all, it's still beautiful, but I thought it worth mentioning in case others got the same impression I did from the product images.- As you might be able to see in some of my pictures, the velvet interior does seem to pick up lint and stray hairs easily. Again, this is something that does not bother me, I'm used to having stray hairs around since I have 3 cats, but I could see that might bother some people. It should be easy enough to clean with a bit of adhesive tape to pick up the lint and hairs.

I loved the quality of this dice carrier. It holds 35 dice. I was very impressed my the quality of the inner design in the rolling area. I purchased the player's handbook and that was great too

very sturdy, nice dice tray. the green/black color scheme looks great. i have a few quibbles.the tree design on the felt looks faded compared to the one on the outside of the case. and more importantly, the leather(?)work binding is pretty shoddy looking for such an expensive item (see photo). not worth returning it, but you should know it won't look as perfect as the product pics do. other than that, pretty satisfying as a dice tray, room for at least four full sets of dnd dice. roll high, friends.

I bought this case more so to hold my dice than anything else. When I saw the design on it I thought that it would be perfect theming for my Druid.I coupled this case with 5 sets of black and green dice and they fit pretty around the outer ring on the inside of the case.The construction and materials aren’t the greatest but, for the cost, it is quite a nice case!When I pulled this out at the beginning of a new campaign it turned into the highlight of the evening. Most all of my group ending up getting different themed versions for themselves for when they have to travel.Overall, this case holds the perfect amount of dice for my needs, has an awesome design, and is very useful for traveling.You pretty much can’t beat this case for the cost. I would recommend it to a friend.

I was impressed with the quality, detail, and its sturdy, it doesnt feel "cheap".Overall a really good choice for DnD or any other TTRPG that uses dice. Im glad I bought this.

Hasn't had any issues yet whatsoever and I've been using it for over a year. Holds all my dice, but do beware that if you have dice that are a bit larger than average you might have to put them in the center for storage instead of the staging area.
