Glass breaks easily
I just got this feeder. I took it apart to rinse everything before the first use. The glass part tipped over on my laminate countertop and shattered. Seems like that part should be a bit more rugged.

Never leaks, great feeder!
I have had these for several years and accidentally broke one when dropping the glass. These are easy to disassemble and clean. They have a rubber gasket inside where the glass container screws in and seats. It’s like a large hose fitting washer and unlike others I’ve had in the past, these never leak.

Works Great
The hummingbirds seem to really flock to these feeders. We own 4 units that birds go from flower to flower.

Hummers love these
This is my hummingbirds almost favorite... They actually prefer the non-top filling with the bright yellow flowers but those are so messy to refill. The tops on these are a little difficult to get lined up to screw back on but still better than those you have to turn over to refill.

Leak Solved .... Maybe !!
Bought this because bees were all over my original Perky Pet feeders. Got it yesterday [8/25]; set it up; and it was empty this morning. Dripped out overnight. Filled it this morning and watched. Two flowers set BIG drops immediately and one set a small drop. Sad, I was! Brought the unit inside and got out the washers I'd bought trying to solve the aforementioned bee problem. Put the washer where the glass feeder screws into the base. It was slightly too big, but what the heck. I screwed it down anyway. That was three hours ago and so far [fingers crossed,] not a drop or droplet showing. Maybe the leaking has stopped ?? !!Now the hummers need to come back and test it too. The three stars are for the hassle and Perky should include a washer the right size. I canna be the only one this happens to. The washers that are slightly too large: 2 inches outside diameter. 1 3/4 inches inside diameter. I got them at a hardware store.

Don't waste your money
I have a charm of close to 100 hummingbirds that come to my feeders, I currently have 12 feeders of all different types, mostly Perky Pet. I know how to clean and fill feeders. Twice since purchasing this feeder it has dumped out all it's nectar after cleaning. Not from a leak anywhere, but actually through the bee guards. After cleaning and refilling it doesn't leak, no changes at all, but by then the mess has been made. I left in the sink after cleaning and filling the last time to see what would happen and it dumped it all again. I have lots of Perky Pets Top-Filling feeders, I even had a larger version of this exact feeder that worked fine for a couple of years until the glass was accidently broken. But this is a piece of crap. Don't buy it. Don't waste your time and money.

Holds 20 oz, which is about 1 day at my house.
This is not a "grandmaster" feeder, it holds only 20 oz of syrup. I'm a little leery of the mechanism cause it seems to be made of foam. Imagine how much bacteria and saliva will get absorbed into the sponge? I trust the brand from other purchases, so I'll wait and see how it functions.

This feeder is super easy to clean and fill
I love this Hummingbird feeder. It is my second one, as the Hummingbirds are fighting over my first one. I love how easy it is to clean! Being able to fill it from the top is a super bonus. I have to fill my other feeder from the bottom, and then turn it over to make it up right. loosing some of the nectar. This feeder is so much easier to fill. I highly recommend this feeder.

Leaking right from day 1
I paid more money to buy a hummingbird feeder with a rubber ring seal to avoid the leaks that occur using a plastic one. I didn't put it out until the middle of April and immediately it seemed like the nectar was disappearing at a rapid rate. I kept adding a little bit of nectar and it kept disappearing so I brought the feeder inside and put it over a couple of paper towels overnight and sure enough it was leaking. It seems to be from one or more of the flowers. I've thought about trying to silicone it but not sure how to do that with the flowersI would not buy or recommend

Bee proof
We were overrun by bees, we had bee guards on our existing feeders but were still overrun. These feeders solved the problem

Quality and bright ess
Very sturdy and glass container versus plastic. Colorful and birds seem tobe attracted to it. Had 2 baltimore orioles drinking from it.
