This is a metal lock that actually works with the key, the product itself is built well and is an excellent value for the price!

Decorative
This lock looks fantastic. It is definitely decorative and will not withstand heavy use but it worked very well for the gift card box I put it on. The only issue I had is it is a little tricky to lock you really have to pinch it closed while turning the key.

Great for treasures
Bought this to use for a treasure chest for a kids’ scavenger hunt. It is perfect!

Some Important Details...
I would call this a very basic, functional decorative lock. The lock is not spring-loaded so you need to use the key to secure the lock instead of simply clicking the arm back into the hole to lock. Other than that, it is a perfect match to my bourbon barrel converted to a liquor storage cabinet.Size is relatively true to measurement. Good value for the price.

Looks cute, but that’s about it
If you are looking for a lock that’s purely decorative then this isn’t bad. I got it to add to a display trunk in the living room. The quality is not great though, feels like it could break pretty easy. Also, it’s not that easy to unlock
