FRAMORE made in Italy imported artisan pasta is produced in a small factory in Apulia, a region in the South Italy known as the “Italian barn”. It is made with 100% premium durum wheat semolina and it has a golden amber (brown for whole wheat or spelt pasta) color. Semolina used in the production, has the right amount of proteins, it is ground finer and, blended in mixer ten times smaller versus industrial pasta. Pasta is bronze cut extruded, a special process to shape pasta which gives it a unique rough surface, in order to catch and hold the dressing. Framore pasta maker personally bring the small trays with pasta to the drying rooms. Right low temperature and long time to dry from 24 to 48 hours. Pasta is made exactly how it should be according to the Italian ancient tradition. The packaging of our pasta recalls the passion of Italian foods. Our pasta-maker called “pastaio”, he is the key person that allows us to make pasta with an intense wheat flavor, an always “al dente” texture, a consistency that never changes, not even under the high heat of your oven, a porosity that catches and adsorbs any sauces. Gluten free pasta is made in a very small family factory in Apulia where only gluten free products are produced including protein pasta with lentils, green pea, chickpeas flour. Mixer is of 20kg that means pasta is artisan or better called handmade pasta due to very limited quantity and high-quality pasta.
