Aucuda Drum Rug Mat Non Slip 4x6 ft for Electric Set, Black Drumming Carpet

Great for my Roland kit - which has the footprint of a rack mounted 7 piece double bass kit. Wish I had one of these decades ago - would have been great for gigs to prevent bass drum creep/sliding on concrete/wood/etc. Back in the day we would use actual carpet for rehearsal space but it was not going to a gig with us, just too bulky - and the price for these is pretty good with a nice look and finish. Rolls right up and has a Velcro strap. I'm not sure about durability yet but I wish it was a little heavier weight. It was a fight to get my DW5000 pedals in place due to the Velcro on the pedal's bottom - lol. The material was kind of light for that job - when I placed the pedals and fought with the Velcro, carpet and pedal location, the carpet would bunch and shift easily causing me to have to pull and tug the carpet to get everything back in place, over, and over. If you are looking for a rug that aggressively sticks to Velcro - this is it - actually kind of a plus in a way. Maybe I'm a bit OCD about pedal placement but if the carpet was a bit heaver weight it would be improved for my use case - 5/5 stars.

I friggin' love this rug. Great size, Just thick enough to keep it from wrinkling up, thin enough to be light, great pattern, rubber bottom side keeps it in place, has attached velcro strap to roll it up, and solid construction. Had to roll it up reversed for a couple of gigs to undo the "memory" of being rolled up for an extended period of time, but once broken in, it lays perfectly flat.

I got this drum rug and put it down months ago and it’s still in the same spot. It has great grip and it’s very durable. It fits our electric drum set with room left over. It’s got a nice thickness and weight to it and the material feels like premium quality.

The rug is great. But it came slightly damaged. It might’ve been previously used but there were obvious spots of deep wear even thought it was packed well and protected. Very sturdy and attractive rug, otherwise.

I've got a 10-piece Alesis electric drum kit, and this rug is just what I needed. It's stylish, perfect size, and the kick pedal velcro adheres very strongly to the rug. I no longer have to continuously move my kick drum/pedal closer to me while playing. Great purchase - highly recommended 💯

needed a simple drum mat to keep my pedals from sliding around on hardwood floors and this mat gets the job done. it's very lightweight and thin but stays in place and feels very durable. one downside is that my drum set is in a high traffic area so the mat tends to pick up some dust/particles but can easily be vacuumed up. shouldn't be a problem for most people. the pedals stay exactly where it is placed and the velcros on the pedals stick very well to the mat but can also be easily repositioned.

I absolutely love this rug. I have my drum set sitting on it and I love that it's lightweight and thin. I live in a house on stilts and I was worried about the sound traveling under the house. I couldn't believe how much noise got absorbed. You can barely hear anything underneath. Even better is that my kick drum aka bass drum doesn't move when I'm using it. Usually people have to buy a kick block to stop equipment from moving but I haven't needed to. I'm so happy with this rug. I have dogs and their fur doesn't stick and if you must, you can hang the rug on a line and clean it in minutes. I highly recommend this rug for so many reasons 😉

The pedal of the bass drum gets stuck in the fibers and moves along the mat and rips it slightly. Other than that, it’s a good mat. It’s not the most soundproofing mat but it is quite good to prevent slipping. My review is based on an electric drum kit, not an acoustic one

Good Rug, seems sturdy. Backing is quite heavy rubber so seems likely to be good at not-slipping (can't asses that just yet as its placed on top of another carpet right now). Material nice and seemingly hard wearing with no blemishes. Arrived next day on prime delivery. Came rolled up NOT folded (as some of the cheap chinese drum rugs have arrived for others) so no folded in ruts/ridges. Millenium MPS-705X kit fits on 120x140cm sized rug nicely, even placed on it diagonally as kit is in corner of room (so rug square to the corner and kit diagonally on rug with kick facing into corner to save space). 10/10. Would rug again.
