Review: VERY SATISFIED - So we just moved into a new house and naturally, I'm getting all new stuff to with it. That included getting rid of all our old knives and getting one good set instead. After browsing through quite a few, I decided on this one because it had everything that I needed and was still within a reasonable price range. Now, I feel that I should mention that this set is not Damascus and that it's only made to look like it via laser drawn design. With that said, I was expecting that and that aspect is not important to me. What IS important is that they function well and these knives did not disappoint. The knives are SUPER sharp and very comfortable to use. I barely have to apply pressure for them to cut through anything that I've tried so far. They are well made and sturdy and I was not able to find any defects or issues with them. The set comes with the knives, the block and a cute apron. We'll see how they hold up over time, but so far I am VERY impressed and very happy with this purchase.

I have not seen anything in this price range remotely close to the quality of these. Seldom do I text friends and family to tell them about a product, but I did pass the word along about these, to a few people. The non-sale price was $100 and that is still a bargain for what you get out of this set, aesthetically, and quality.

So we just moved into a new house and naturally, I'm getting all new stuff to with it. That included getting rid of all our old knives and getting one good set instead. After browsing through quite a few, I decided on this one because it had everything that I needed and was still within a reasonable price range. Now, I feel that I should mention that this set is not Damascus and that it's only made to look like it via laser drawn design. With that said, I was expecting that and that aspect is not important to me. What IS important is that they function well and these knives did not disappoint. The knives are SUPER sharp and very comfortable to use. I barely have to apply pressure for them to cut through anything that I've tried so far. They are well made and sturdy and I was not able to find any defects or issues with them. The set comes with the knives, the block and a cute apron. We'll see how they hold up over time, but so far I am VERY impressed and very happy with this purchase.

I bought this set and received it just before Thanksgiving. Let me tell you, slicing the turkey was like a hot knife through butter - I honestly didn't expect that, given the price of these knives! It's now January and I'm still amazed every time I use them. Not a chef by any means, and I don't use them on a daily basis, but when I do, they perform flawlessly. I've even used the serrated steak knives to cut summer sausage, and the knives just go through it without even doing the sawing motion...it just goes straight down with minimal pressure. I thought that was cool! I've seen reviews here where the blades broke when dropping them...I have not dropped one yet, so I can't speak to that..but I would suggest not dropping them, especially onto a hard tile floor. They are hardened steel, which has a trade-off of being more brittle vs keeping an edge. Just the nature of the beast. I do recommend these knives - sharp, easy to use and they look great on the countertop!
