Can't keep up with HTC One M9
Got this for the HTC One M9 specifically. It works as advertised. However....This Qi add-on is not adequate for the model of phone in question. More of a knock against the power demand of the HTC phone than this component. I've had Qi phones before and the Qi chargers in my car, office, and home have always worked great for them. But this phone has demands that while in Qi charging mode it is simply slowing the drain and is not able to make a total positive impact.I've found that a hardwired Quickcharge 2.0 connection is the only way to get fully charged for HTC One M9. I tried connecting and disconnecting the microusb connection to alternate between Qi & QC2.0... but that really is just gambling eventual microusb port damage.I've tried turning off battery hungry features like GPS, Wifi, Bluetooth, NFC even 4G data. Under those circumstances the phone WILL charge while active. Thus eliminating the purpose having a smartphone and a dash mount Qi charger. The result is not knowing where you are or able perform bluetooth voice commands. I've now got a dumb phone for the convenience of charging wirelessly. Blah.
