Best Camera Bag I Have Owned
This backpack is very well made and zippers are excellent. I have owned more expensive backpacks and the zippers are almost always the first thing to fail. The storage inside is great and has plenty of room. I love the side access, like my previous bags, which makes getting your camera out quickly so easy. The straps, padding, and stitching are all of excellent quality. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great camera bag. ***UPDATE*** After using for almost a year and a half the bag still looks brand new and everything works as if it’s the first day of use. Best backpack I have ever used. I highly recommend.

Too small
Good quality, but unfortunately, even the MacBook Air 13-inch doesn’t fit inside it, it’s too small.

Great Camera Bag
I was looking for a camera bag that could hold all my gear including my Nike 200-500mm mounted on my camera. Most bags that could do what I needed were huge. I did a ton of research, looked at many different bags and ended up going with going with the Vanguard 48BF. This bag holds a ton of gear but does not feel too big. In my bag I have a 200-500mm mounted to a D7500, a 70-200mm zoom, a 18-105mm, a 12-24mm, a set of extension tubes, a SB800 flash and misc gear. It’s very easy to configure how you need. It’s also very comfortable to wear, I’ve worn it for several multi-hour hikes and no complaints. The bag is very well made to. Overall it does exactly what I need it to do. I would recommend it.

Holds it all (48 size)
Just a hobby photographer here so I mainly use a bag to help hold all the other stuff I travel with. I had to replace my last bag from a company that starts with an m cause the zipper blew out. This bag was stellar. Also like the strap that holds it onto a suitcase. And the side pocket to easily get to the camera is ideal. My only knock is it can hold so much stuff you have to remember where you put it all and be careful how much you stuff it so it will still fit under an airplane seat. Very comfortable to wear and zipper quality is great. Picture shows what it held for me on my innagural use for overseas trip. Love it.

Great backpack for travel
Just used this backpack for a trip to Japan and it worked great. It is a great size as I had camera and 4 lenses and all the extras (battier SD cards etc) as well as 6-inch Macbook pro, a book and headphones. No issues with airport security and carry-on on the plane. Walked a lot with it, more than 20 000 steps a day and it was comfortable for no issues, also easy to quickly get out a camera from the side pocket when needed.

Sadly, had to return
This bag is ideal but for one rather serious flaw. The side access zippers for camera/lens access do not lock shut. A gap remains and can gradually open more. This was at least true for my bag, which I'm in the process of returning. In every other way, this bag is terrific for the street photographer. On my back, it is by far the most comfortable bag I have owned. It is ideally sized for a smaller mirrorless camera and prime lens, plus one or two other primes and camera sundries (filters, batteries, etc.). A small storage compartment above the camera compartment is likewise usefully sized for phone, wallet, etc. There is space for my tablet. It does not hurt that the bag is aesthetically attractive. The bag is in all other ways a 5 star bag to my mind. But for the issue with the side access ports, I would not give it up. I have attempted various solutions, but none have provided me sufficient confidence my camera could not spill from the bag, and so I am saying goodbye to my Vanguard 37.

Stylish but functional for slimmer built people
The backpack looks great in person. The size is perfect for a mirrorless camera and an extra lens. There are many useful pockets, but I think they could have added more pockets and partitions to the interior of the bag. The finish of the bag is a mix of durable nylon and a soft-touch water repellent coating. The nylon looks like it will last, but the soft touch sections may scratch in the future. Comfort with the padded straps and chest buckle is good for long treks. The standouts are the small size, comfort, protection, and the side pocket for easy camera removal.

excelent quality, fits under airline seat, theft proof
Got for.a trip to Italy. worked really well. has rear access to main compartment and also side access. used mini locks for lugage to lock zippers on side pockets for pick pockets. straps are killer. has minimal waist belt but also not bulky and can be stashed when not needed. Great for the plane. fit under seat well on three airlines. Fuji xs20, 3 lenses. selfie pod, fill light, filters, batteries cables, and plenty of room for water bottle on side and top compartment for snacks etc. If not using the side bottle or tripod holder there is the option to use as a stash for other stuff in little pocket. cards, batts, etc. Stands up when filled without falling over. Again excelent quality zippers, engineering etc. hard use in europe for 3 weeks and looks like new.

a very versatile backpack that’s well designed!
I’ve been using a Vanguard bad for my lights for over a decade now and it still looks great and functions flawlessly. So when my camera backpack (from another manufacturer) started to wear through, both inside and out, I had no hesitation in buying a Vanguard. The Veo Select 48BF is a great bag if you need a custom setup. I shoot pictures, video, 360 virtual tours and create floor plans m, 5 days a week with this bag, but each job can be a mix of any of these. The 48BF allowed me to put my Fuji X-H1 in the top section with my radio triggers (I have a couple of DIY sections for small items). This is the only section I need to open if I’m only shooting pictures. I have my gimbal in the main section with a lens, lights, batteries and other accessories down the side. I have setup a little section inside the side door that holds my 360 camera, small Pixi stand and both handles for my gimbal. The front external pocket holds a fairly large LED light panel and there is a separate compartment for my laptop (for cafe video editing) and another for my iPad (for floor plans). The 48BF holds a lot of equipment without feeling heavy and it has made my setup much more efficient on the job. One thing I would have liked on this bag would be more places to attach things on the outside (small pouches, carabiners etc). The flat section on then front of the outside of the bag feels like space that could be better used too. All in all, this is an amazing backpack for the price! Vanguard bags are always well thought out and great for handy pockets where you need them.

Super sac
