It's large, roughly a foot square and about 4" at it's deepest point. I can't imagine taking it on a flight. I purchased an inflatable support at the same time that's half the size inflated and can be deflated to fit in an airline carry on.I'm keeping them both but have to say that I've not found a chair where the inflatable isn't the better solution. On a desk chair, it's comfortable but causes me to sit way forward in the chair which isn't all that comfortable. I'll have to try adjusting the chair.
