A GFCI plug, a heavy aluminum case to disapate the heat, a local on off switch and a place for a remote on off switch. The 12 VDC input has a plug so the inverter can be disconnected without unwiring the supply side. I purchased this for a cigarette lighter mobile installation, the 12VDC input wire are 10 gauge, so getting them installed in a cigarette lighter plug was not easy.If you are looking for an inverter for a permanent installation, this would be a good choice.
