Is the spray itself clear as the green in the description I assume means the colour of the tin?

Clear but very strong chemical smell. It does not make the fabric totally waterproof. More like showerproof.

Will this work on a school blazer?

I have used on lots items like canvas shoes and various coats with no problems

Is this suitable for a plastic shower curtain which leaks? I have a lovely curtain but the water gets through! Thanks!

NO! It perhaps works for an old Gortex jacket for a single shower of drizzle. Overrated by nutty 'Marketing Men'. A 'useless' product. I recommend buying a new shower curtain....or fabricating with a few binbags.

The smell will go eventually. I hang things I’ve sprayed on the washing line to give it a good blow gets rid of the smell quicker.
