The pick up is a little hotter than the original. A simple gain reduction at the mixer or body pack and it's fixed. It has a good tolerance for wind and "p's". One off putting thing was that the click broke on its second use. The C arm that holds the mic on the clip broke. Fortunately, it ships with an extra one. We simply switched out and it's just like new. We've been using it about 3 times a week for an hour at a time with no issues. I will definitely buy again if needed.
