Product description Product Descriptions Hydrocolloid Dressing EalionMed Hydrocolloid Wound Dressings Extra Thin Type are absorbent dressings that consist of a self-adhesive layer with a polyurethane film outer cover. On contact with wound exudate, the hydrocolloid layer forms a cohesive gel, provide a moist wound healing environment that promotes the body’s own reparative processes (i.e., autolytic debridement). 4'' x 4'', Individual Package, 10 Pieces each Box Self-adhesive and Waterproof Non-sensitizing, Non-irritatiing and Comfortable Hydrocolloid Adhesive Forms a cohesive Gel, Reduce Damages & Pains. Intended Uses EalionMed Hydrocolloid Wound Dressings are indicated for the management of wounds that have dry to light exudates, such as pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, surgical wounds, donor sites, superficial wounds including minor burns, abrasions, cuts, lacerations, granulating wounds. Since they only need to be changed every three to seven days, hydrocolloid dressings cause only minimal wound disruption, which helps to speed up wound healing and minimize wound pain. How to Remove 1. Press down on the skin and carefully lift the dressing starting at one edge. 2. Pull towards the center of the wound until the dressing is removed. 3. Cleanse the wound with saline solution or an appropriate wound cleanser, if necessary. Frequency of Change EalionMed Hydrocolloid Wound Dressings must be changed when • It is saturated, indicated by colour change from pale yellow to white. • In the event of a leakage • If the dressing is uncomfortable for the patient EalionMed Hydrocolloid Wound Dressings can be used for up to 7 days, dependent on patient exudate levels. Cautions and Tips Don't use for full thickness burn wound. Don't use for patients with a known allergy to hydrocolloid dressings. Single-use proudct for each piece, do not reuse it. Read Before Use HOLD the DRESSING by HAND for 30 seconds to active the adhesiveness and get better wearing. Do not suitable for high adhesive requirement. Prevent cloths or equipment from rubbing on the ends of the patch to longer using. The wear time will be shorted and products lose adhesion if staying in high temperature environment or making strenuous exercise because of a lot of sweating. It is waterproof but not shower proof. The liquid will not cross from one side of dressing to the other side but liquid can leak through the edge under the adhesive layer and loosen the adhesion.

It’s great for my hormonal forehead acne which I get monthly before my time of the month so this things is hand and effective. And it’s very cost effective compare to the small ones. **Q: Is this product comparable to DuoDerm?**
A: Absolutely No! This is a knock off product, incomparably inferior to DuoDerm. I was misled by Amazon’s Choice, and deeply regret it. Read my review below.

**Q: Are these bandages latex free?**
A: yes

**Q: Has anyone used these for skin protection around their ostomy?**
A: I have some for the ostomy but have not used it. You would lay it over the weepy skin and cut an area out for the stoma and then put your bag/flange over it. The bag would stick to this instead of your skin.

**Q: Why are the 2” squares are a lot smaller than 2”**
A: They have a border. Get some with no border. I had to get them that way

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not as great as DuoDerm. But much more affordable and does the job.

I've been using DuoDerm for my wounds and it has been absolutely amazing. But DuoDerm is ridiculously expensive and I had to look for other alternatives out there. That's how I landed on this one. First and foremost, this is way more bang for buck than DuoDerm. For the same price of 3 DuoDerm sheets/bandages you get 10 of these! So from a price perspective this takes the gold star. You can also cut these to size which is what I do. It's just as easy to peel the bandage when it is cut - it's like peeling a sticker. Tip: cut in round shapes because the bandage can get caught/lift easier if it has sharp corners. If you decide not to cut each sheet, there is a pull tab for you to easily peel it for use. The feel is great - it feels like skin. It also does not hurt my open wound. It does keep the wound moist in order to foster a healing environment and does prevent me from scabbing. I change it daily to keep it clean. The reason for 1 star off is that these don't stay on as well as DuoDerm does. Although not always, sometimes my bandages start falling off throughout the day, so I do have to change it 2-3 times in a 24 hour period. The other reason is that tangibly it doesn't feel as good as DuoDerm. Overall this is a great alternative and one I will stick to due to the price point and the effectiveness. Love it and happy I found it.
