StrongTek Under-Desk Footrest, 4.5 in High, Non-Slip, 300 lb, Office Use

Nice and sturdy. I don't think the gripped part that your feet rest on is comfortable with bare feet. Though not to rough for those who aren't as sensitive to rough textures as myself. But it works well with socks or shoes to keep your feet from sliding. I would not want it to be a smooth surface so this isn't a con but maybe something to keep in mind if you plan to use it without shoes. I bought one for my new home office and I liked it so much I purchased another one for my work office. I have always used the plastic ones at work and have broken a lot of them. They are loud and the slightest pressure from changing positions can cause many of them to break. The Strongtek one is very sturdy and I expect it will last a long time. It's also light weight. I often will move it with my feet to reposition it under my desk. On carpet this is silent and no one will hear this. I only wish it was a little wider to allow for greater foot positions. If you are short and need a foot rest this is hands down my favorite I have found so far.

This foot rest has been a life saver at work. My back feels better and my posture at my desk is better. I can sit high enough to see my computer screen and use my keyboard without my feet "just" off the floor. It makes it easier to sit more ergonomically correctly. It is sturdy and well-made. I highly recommend!

The StrongTek Under Desk Footrest is solidly built and does a good job of elevating the feet in a comfortable position. However at least for our use it was too heavy and quite bulky to move underneath the table. In addition the wood frame was hitting the table legs when moving it potentially causing scratches on the table legs. For those reasons we returned it and replaced it with a plastic footrest which we are very well satisfied with.

This foot rest is very well made, sturdy, and grips flooring/carpet quite well. I bought it to put my sewing machine foot pedal on, and it works exactly as i’d wanted. Great purchase, great product, well priced. Fast delivery.

I can't believe how sturdy this little job is! I bought it to replace a plastic one that was probably a good 2-3 inches wider and I thought I would feel 'cramped' on this. Well that was before I realized even though the plastic one was wider, you still need to keep your feet closer to the center for fear of that flopping over on you. Not so with this thing! The legs, which you can see, are practically right at the edge. And they aren't feet... they are entire 'sides' meaning the contact is great with absolutely no movement/wobble. The 'sandpaper grip' is great too as it keeps your feet from sliding/skidding around so much better than rubber surfaces do, yet even to bare feet (as I'm writing this right now) it feels soft, not scratchy. It's hard to explain. Just know you'll never go back to rubberized surfaces after trying this. Now in my case, I have a really slippery rug that was causing this to move (problem with everything I put on this rug, not this unit) but I solved that by putting little spikes on the bottom edges of the sides so it 'bites in' to my carpet. Now you could probably drive a small car into this thing and it ain't gonna move! Like I said, couldn't be happier. I'm considering getting others for other chair areas in my home.

It's a fine footrest, but the one thing I didn't account for is that the "non-slip" surface is actually a sandpaper-like texture that I'm sure will cause my socks to wear out faster and isn't too comfortable with bare feet. If you only use it with shoes then this would only be a plus due to the non-slip effect but this is advertised for home use and how many people really wears shoes while sitting at home? It is still usable though I would say, and you could also wear slippers and that would solve the problem as well.

Actually, this is a very nice, sturdy, well constructed footstool. I am very pleased. Not sure I plan to do any of the included exercises, however.

J'avais un autre repose-pied qui s'est brisé après 2 mois d'utilisation (il était fait en plastique). J'ai alors acheté celui-ci et non seulement, il fonctionne super bien (bonne hauteur, largeur), mais il est tellement robuste que je peux travailler debout avec mes deux pieds sur ce repose-pieds (et wow, ça étire bien les mollets)! En plus, l'antidérapant est d'excellente qualité. Je le recommande.

It’s a good product but be informed that one cannot use it barefooted.You have to have your shoes or slippers on to keep the feet over it otherwise it gives a gritty sensation 😔😢 since the surface is rough like a sandpaper
