Review: Perfect Size and Surprisingly Comfortable - I LOVE this keyboard! I don’t use it for gaming, but it is now my absolute favorite keyboard for writing. The fact that I can switch between computer, tablet, and my phone at will is even better. I changed out the switches for Cherry blues - I like the clicky positive feedback because I have neuropathy that makes my fingertips numb. It took me about 2 days to get used to the ‘language’ of a 60% keyboard layout, but once I did it became my go-to. I do own 2 other Royal Kludge keyboards, but this one now travels with me full-time!! Review: The 60% form factor budget god - This is the cheapest mechanical keyboard I’ve ever owned, and it’s my new favorite keyboard. (I chose the RGB one) The build quality is surprisingly good for the price. I see a lot of negative reviews from people who bought the keyboard for use other than gaming talking about bad keymapping, and my response to that is why did you buy a gaming keyboard? If you are a software editor or something (not a gamer) why don’t you get a full form factor keyboard with all the buttons you need, instead of getting a 60% keyboard designed for gaming and then complaining about how it’s hard to access certain keys? For $50 you get awesome looking rgb (the clear switches look great) with backlighting, you get hot swappable switches, and you get three different connection methods through usb dongle, Bluetooth, or wired. Aside from all those features that are objectively good, the stock switches on this keyboard feel great in my opinion. I spent $20 on some hyperx pudding keycaps and now my keyboard looks and feels even better. So, I guess my verdict is; if you play games, buy it. If you want a keyboard for other purposes, I would probably look elsewhere. ## Features - First Generation of Triple Mode Keyboards - Wireless mode with stable BT5.0 chipset, hassle-free 2.4Ghz dongle plus USB-C wired mode set no limits about your keyboard connection. The RK61 is best to fit smartphone, laptop and tablet. - 60% Mechanical Gaming Keyboard: The Compact mechanical keyboard with 61 Keys brings you a neat desktop. Tips you might want to know is that 60% BT gaming keyboard without numpad is most FPS gamers’ choice, more spaces left for mouse movements. - Hot-swappable: Hot-swap PCB allows you to replace 3 pins/5 pins switches freely without soldering issue. Enjoy the fun of making your own keyboard. - High-capacity Battery: RK61 60 Percent mechanical keyboard Allows you to use continuously about 13 hours with lightest backlit, up to 360 hours standby time. - Single Color Backlit But Not Dull: Even if RK61 has no multicolored RGB but only single LED backlit, the 17 dynamic backlit modes keep the plain effect away. Use FN + to choose your ideal mode, adjust the brightness and glowing speed freely. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B08D8ZR2G2 | | Additional Features | Backlit, Hot-Swappable | | Antenna Location | Business, Everyday Use, Gaming, Student | | Best Sellers Rank | #1,301 in Video Games ( See Top 100 in Video Games ) #163 in PC Gaming Keyboards | | Brand | RK ROYAL KLUDGE | | Built-In Media | USB Cable | | Button Quantity | 61 | | Color | White | | Compatible Devices | Gaming Console, Laptop, PC, Smartphone, Tablet | | Compatible Operating System Family | MacOS, Windows | | Compatible Tablet Computer Models | AAUB P30 | | Connectivity Technology | BT5.0, Wireless 2.4G, USB-C | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 2,755 Reviews | | Enclosure Material | Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene | | Hand Orientation | Ambidextrous | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 11.5"L x 4.02"W x 1.54"H | | Keyboard Backlighting Color Support | Single Color | | Keyboard Description | Gaming | | Keyboard Layout | QWERTY | | Manufacturer | RK ROYAL KLUDGE | | Mfr Part Number | 093348322 | | Model Name | RK61 | | Model Number | RK61 | | Number of Batteries Required | 1 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Keys | 61 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Number of Sections | 1 | | Recommended Uses For Product | Business, Everyday Use, Gaming, Student | | Special Feature | Backlit, Hot-Swappable | | Style Name | Contemporary | | Switch Type | Linear | | Theme | Gaming | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | 1 Year Manufacturer | ## Product Details - **Brand:** RK ROYAL KLUDGE - **Color:** White - **Compatible Devices:** Gaming Console, Laptop, PC, Smartphone, Tablet - **Connectivity Technology:** BT5.0, Wireless 2.4G, USB-C - **Keyboard Description:** Gaming - **Keyboard backlighting color support:** Single Color - **Product Dimensions:** 11.5"L x 4.02"W x 1.54"H - **Recommended Uses For Product:** Business, Everyday Use, Gaming, Student - **Special Feature:** Backlit, Hot-Swappable - **Style:** Contemporary ## Images ![RK ROYAL KLUDGE RK61 Wireless 60% Triple Mode BT5.0/2.4G/USB-C Mechanical Keyboard, 61 Keys Wireless Mechanical Keyboard, Compact Gaming Keyboard with Software - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61ORs8vthLL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: How can I get the software and the latest version of the firmware?** A: Effortlessly configure your RK device via RK driver. bit.ly/RKSoftwareV4-6 Copy the link above to the search bar & run the driver via wired mode. **Q: Can it work with a PS4, PS5 or Xbox?** A: Yes, RK keyboards are compatible with some games on PS4, PS5, and Xbox in wired mode. **Q: How to Switch between Win/ Mac layout?** A: Easily switch between Win/ Mac layout by pressing FN+A/S. It has many things a regular 60% keyboard doesn't have like arrow keys. They switches are in kind of in between thocky and clicky. Pros: Good price, good quality, led lighting is spot on, many features. Cons: Question mark key sometimes doesn't work; arrow keys sometimes don't work. Summary: In all this keyboard impressed me. Even though it had its cons, I would 100% recommend this keyboard to a friend. ## Frequently Bought Together - RK ROYAL KLUDGE RK61 Wireless 60% Triple Mode BT5.0/2.4G/USB-C Mechanical Keyboard, 61 Keys Wireless Mechanical Keyboard, Compact Gaming Keyboard with Software (Hot Swappable Red Switch, White) - Logitech G305 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse, Hero 12K Sensor, 12,000 DPI, Lightweight, 6 Programmable Buttons, 250h Battery Life, On-Board Memory, PC/Mac - White - Abstract Topographic Map White Grey Black Gaming Mouse Pad Long Mouse Pad Large Desk Mat 31.5 X 11.8 Inch Mousepad with Non-Slip Base Stitched Edge Keyboard Mat for Gaming Office --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sk/products/215523923-rk-royal-kludge-rk61-wireless-60-triple-mode-bt5-0](https://www.desertcart.sk/products/215523923-rk-royal-kludge-rk61-wireless-60-triple-mode-bt5-0) --- *Product available on Desertcart Slovakia* *Store origin: SK* *Last updated: 2026-10-14*
