These nougat's are just like I remember from childhood when we would go to the local Italian deli and the owner would always toss a few of these in our grocery bag as a "thank you" for being good customers. The nougats come with an edible paper-thin flakey cover, and nougat itself is soft, fluffy, and sweet, and contains honey and pieces of almonds inside. There are three flavors: vanilla, orange, and lemon. The orange and lemon flavors are not overpowering, but add a little tang to the sweetness. I'm so happy Torrone still makes these!

I gave this as an extra gift at my brother's wedding he and his spouse are both Italian-American and it is a favorite of both of them. It was very nostalgic for my family too as my grandmother always had these on hand especially around the holidays. I bought the assorted flavor boxes and that was a hit as well!

This is just like how I remember it from when I was a kid. The flavors are outstanding and the nuts are fresh and toasted perfectly. I wish it didn’t cost so much to ship but once in a while treat is worth it because they’re so good!

I buy this as a Christmas and birthday gift for my husband year. He loves it and I think it's a good value for what you get.

When I was a kid, we used to get some of this candy in the cookie Christmas trays we used to get from Brooklyn bakeries for after Christmas dinner. I've always loved them, but hadn't seen them for decades. I've ordered these for several years now & have given samples out & even used them as gifts. Everyone who has tried them comments on how unusual & good they are. I especially like the fact that each one is sealed in a foil wrapper & then put in it's own little box. Looks & tastes like a very fancy & special treat... & they stay fresh for a long time. The multi-box options offer the best price. I only wish they came in all Vanilla so that I wouldn't have to swap the lemon & orange from my box for vanilla's from the boxes I give away.;-) (Everyone else likes the lemon & orange. I'm just partial to vanilla.) Highly recommend!
