Great product and easy to replace.
Fixed my trailer brake controller perfectly and at a price much cheaper than it would of cost at the dealership.The replacement of the brake controller was very easy, 2012 Chevrolet Silverado LT 3500. Just removed two Phillip-head screws to loosen dash panel beneath steering column, then easily pried with screwdriver the panel off, unplug connector, bent tabs holding in brake controller, slide out, slide new one in and secured with tabs, re-installed connector, re-installed panel. Started truck and the error was gone, brake controller adjustment gain worked as it should. I'm very happy with the product.It's not uncommon for the factory Chevrolet brake controllers to go bad, this is an easy fix after you check your trailer brake fuses, wiring, and receptacle plugs.

Not as easy to install as planned but still reasonable
It's harder to install on certain trucks than most of the videos I watched. Still, it's pretty easy if you just watch some videos on how to remove the dash panels. It didn't resolve my service trailer brake system issue, but I kind of figured it wouldn't. The old one was a bit worn so I didn't mind doing the swap for good.

Perfect fit
Exact replacement. Easy to install. Unfortunately, it did not fix my problem"Service trailer brake system". Next step is to replace the relay above the spare tire.

No harness no Pinout diagram
Product didn’t come with the pigtail connector or the Pinot diagram. So you have no idea what pin does what, and no pigtail to wire to factory harness
