Would these work for melting wax in the microwave? Or would it leak through? Thank you!

Hello, these bags cannot be placed in a microwave oven, because high temperature may cause the bags to burn. These bags can be stored in a room temperature environment with melting wax. There is a smooth protective film inside the bags, even if the liquid is stored, it will not leak.

How to fill these? They're sealed, so am I supposed to tear the top to fill them and then re-seal with the zipper top?

Hello, the top of the new bag you received after purchasing is not heat-sealed. We only need to open the self-sealing strip of the bag to fill the bag. After filling, close the self-sealing strip. Then we can decide whether to heat-seal the top or not according to our own needs.
