I take some with me everywhere...
I bought this mix to try, to hopefully add to my list of food storage items. It's already dehydrated, so all I have to do is measure out however much I wanted to put into mylar bags, drop in a couple O2 absorbers, and I'm off to the races. But before we do that... If I'm going to spend $$$ on stocking up on it, I want to know that I'm going to like it. I started off adding some into my pressure cooked basmati rice. First time through was a little light on the water, but other than that... it was good. Just a tick too sweet for my taste, as the carrots give it a little more sugar than I would like. But if SHTF, sweet won't be bad at all. So that was a thumbs up. Next, I put some in a ziplock baggie (see photo) and took it with me to work. We have a coffee machine that kicks out some nuclear hot water... so I put about a quarter cup of the mix in the bottom of a cup, with a couple packs of salt and pepper... filled the cup, and let is sit for a few minutes. I have to tell you... the aroma that filled my office was magic. Man oh man does this stuff smell good!!!! Not only is it quick and simple to make... it REALLY knocks out a bad case of the hungries. It's amazing how well it sticks to the ribs. Now if you cost it out....given how much someone might use to make a good size bowl/pot of soup... (you don't even need any soup stock, bullion, etc.) The cost per cup is pretty small. For me, this is a no brainer to add to a prepping stockpile. I can see myself burning through a couple 10lb bags of this in nothing flat if things in the world go sideways. Dollar for Dollar, you can't beat it. For those culinary aficionados out there.... this would be a staple to have in the cupboard if you wanted to add a little color or flavor to something on the quick. I hope this helps those that may come across this review. It's a product that is certainly worth the $$$ IMHO.

Great mix โ tasty, natural, and super convenient!
I didnโt expect to love this dried veggie mix as much as I do, but here we are. The flavor is genuinely good โ no weird aftertaste, no โdehydratedโ feel, nothing artificial about it. It just tastes like real vegetables that were chopped and dried at their best. A small tip for those who say some pieces stay too firm: you simply need to soak them long enough. Give them a good 15โ20 minutes in hot water (plenty of water!), and if you cook them afterward โ say, in a soup or stew โ they turn out perfectly soft. No hard bits, no chewy surprises. The carrot even keeps a nice little crunch, which makes it feel fresh and gives the mix a gentle, natural sweetness. The flavor overall is balanced and pleasant โ works beautifully in soups, stews, omelets, even mixed into rice or oatmeal if youโre feeling creative. Basically, anywhere youโd want a little veggie boost without having to chop or peel anything. This stuff is a lifesaver for quick meals. It doesnโt spoil like fresh veggies hiding in the back of the fridge, it lives happily in the pantry, and itโs always ready to go. Just scoop, soak, and cook. Thatโs it. In short โ great quality, great taste, great convenience. A humble bag of veggies that somehow manages to make life a lot easier. Highly recommend!

6 different kinds of veggies so every 6th is a carrot
First I bought the 5lb bag for $8 a lb. !!!!!WHAT!!!!! Yes, not $22 or $26 or more a lb. But $8 a lb. When you buy the 5lb. bag. Bell pepper, onion, carrot, celery, tomatoe, cabbage, 6 different kinds of veggies for $8 a pound. You want 10 different veggies, pay $26 for the other brand. I'm happy with 6 for $18 less per pound! I nuked them for 5 mins. , dumped them in my ramen and they were perfectly rehydrated, delicious, and flavorful. I tasted all the flavors and will definitely buy this product again. The veggies themselves are the 5โ product. 1 issue. I bought this excessively large bag for 2 reasons. $8 a pound and the resealable bag. The singe zip was torn off the bag when I opened the pkg. If I was depending on the "resealable" bag, I would have been in trouble. Otherwise I would have purchased a 2lb. bag with 8 different veggies for $19.99 or $10 a lb. If a smaller quantity is your thing, search. I feel like Google, Prime for sure tries to hide it, I scrolled for a long time before I came across the 2lb. Bag for 19.99, but it's there, just keep looking. If you have an empty 5lb. Storage container like me, This is an incredible deal. GREAT PRICE, GREAT FLAVOR - BUY IT!!

Great Freeze Dried Vegetable Mix!!
I absolutely LOVE these. Great for soups, rice, stews, eggs, pasta, chili, whatever you want to add diced vegetables to. Saves shopping and prep time, fridge or freezer space, and MONEY versus buying (and throwing out) fresh vegetables bought to cook anyway. I used to throw out money on leftover, wilted tomatoes, celery, carrots and peppers pretty often, not anymore. And not at what produce costs. Especially now, in February 2025. I have never seen prices for produce like this in my life, so buying a couple of bags of these are a savings account in itself. They are also great for emergency preparedness and camping/backpacking, anywhere space, longevity and weight might be an issue. I've attached photos of the dried & rehydrated product, out of a freshly opened bag. If you don't like carrots, don't buy these. Personally I like the ratio of carrots, onions, celery, tomatoes, cabbage and bell peppers in this blend... it's a very healthy, delicious mix. Having these I find I eat a LOT more vegetables than I used to, almost daily now because I don't have to prep them. One of the best things is that this mixture does NOT have potatoes as a cheap filler ingredient! I don't want potatoes in my rice, chili or pasta or every time I want to add vegetables to a dish. I saw a complaint that they don't instantly rehydrate upon contact with boiling water? It says right on the package to either simmer for 10-15 minutes or soak in cold water until reconstituted. They are not "Instant Cup-A-Soup". If you need them any faster you can always fully or partially rehydrate some and freeze them. Bottom line is that anyone who wants tasty diced vegetables prepped and ready to eat in 10-15 minutes will LOVE these.

Very, very good
I was pleasantly surprised with Gourmanity Dehydrated Mixed Vegetables! It was my first time purchasing and using something like this. I followed the directions to rehydrate them. They were tasty, did not fall apart, while being added to the soup. I would recommend them to anyone.

Love it!
Love it! 1) Big chunks of vegetables and powder at minimum; currently the best dehydrated vegetables I've tried. 2) Non-GMO and not fillers (hope it's honest). 3) Fresh and seems to last for a while. 4) Perfect size and cost. Hopefully, it's not a one time great bag and that every bag is like this. Definitely try it.

Does taste good otherwise
Kind of disappointing . Claims there are no potato in this product are patently false.

Works great for backpacking
I add to homemade backpacking dinners to add nutrition, flavor , texture. Great in ramen! Im not always patient enough to wait full time required and it's usually soft enough sooner. Great product!

Very Happy
Very happy with this purchase. I was expecting a much smaller bag (expected to be disappointed) but was pleasantly surprised with this. I use it primarily to enhance ramen noodle soup. I enjoy the taste and they give off a fresh aroma. Highly recommended for an easy addition to soups or ramen.
