I purchased these to replace my current Flavorizer bars which were totally rusted out. My grill is a 1998 model, so 23 years old, and were replaced once before probably 10 years ago or so. This time it appears Weber doesn't make replacement Flavorizer bars for the 1000LX....so I got these after market ones from Amazon.Just installed them today, so I have no idea about the longevity at this point, but they fit perfectly, and for this relatively low price, with a 23 year old grill...if I get 5 years out of them I'll be happy.FYI...for those of you with this model (Genesis 1000LX) grill, the three burner tubes are original and look great and function perfectly. I have replaced the ignitor once before, and while the current one still works, the ignitor hood has a small rust hole in it....so I'm replacing the ignitor as well.Edit: June 9, 2021 - Just did an analysis to compare the thickness/weight of the Weber Branded Flavorizer bars to these after market ones I just purchased. The Weber branded bars are twice as thick...or at least weigh almost twice as much per linear inch. Weber OEM Flavorizer bars weighed about .058 lb per linear inch, these aftermarket bars came in at .030 per linear inch. I'm still ok with it since these cost far less than half as much...but just so nobody thinks you're getting OEM quality bars at this price....because you're not!

Not as thick as Weber originals but they’re still heavy and seem to do the trick. Fit perfectly in my 1998 Weber Genesis 2000 and I think they’ll last quite a long time.

These fit perfectly according to the grill compatibility charts. Shipped out quick, packaged very well, and seem to be high quality. I’ve used them for one grill session so far and I’m very happy with their performance.

I was very happy with the replacement bars. The were a perfect fit and the thickness was satisfactory. The only issue I had was that they were shipped wrapped in bubble wrap, and put in a large box and they bounced around and slightly bent the edges. I would buy again and hope they would be packaged better.

i replace these every four years or so with cheapies that rust out. These were pretty cheap, however the appear to be 304 stainless as advertised. The grill is a 35 year old weber--still going strong.

As someone who'd rather refurbish older things, this worked perfectly in my 25 year old Weber Genesis redhead grill, since as we all know Weber no longer makes the original replacement bars for this vintage grill. We'll see how long they last!

We were not ready to get rid of the grill yet but needed the bars. These fit perfect!
