AnitaWomen's Momentum Sport Bra

I am always on the lookout for a wire-free option in a bra with extended cup sizes. This one had great reviews, so I splurged and ordered it, choosing a size according to Anita's size chart. I have rated this bra in several categories with stars for each one.1) Comfort -- I would give this 10 stars if I could. This is the most comfortable bra I have worn in years that still provides decent support. I forget I am wearing it, and I think I could sleep in it if I had to. Very, very comfortable.2) Quality of construction -- 2.5 stars. I've had this less than two months and worn it about three days a week. The elastic bands have already started to ripple in places, which should not be happening. My other complaint is that the slides that adjust the straps simply don't stay put. I often have to readjust them partway through the day, and certainly before each time I wear it. Somewhat disappointing in a bra this expensive.3) Appearance -- 3 stars. It is a plain looking bra. It is not ugly, but it is certainly not pretty, either. My biggest complaint here is that it does give a bit of the uniboob look. Sadly, that is probably unavoidable in a wire-free bra.4) Support for sports -- 3 stars. I wear this for low-impact sports, but it does not provide enough support for high-impact activities.5) Support for everyday wear -- 5 stars. This has become my favorite bra for daily wear, and it provides good support for bike-riding, walking, and general low-impact activities.6) Fit - 4 stars. I found that the bra in my size (by measurement) has cups that are a teeny bit small and a band that is a little bit big. I have to wear it on the tightest hook.I think this is probably a great sports bra for most, but once you get beyond the D cups, it is probably better for daily wear than for most athletic activities. This is my favorite bra, but my search for a great sports bra will continue.

In the mid 1980's, there were plenty of super comfortable, wonderfully supportive, well made bras with NO underwire available for purchase at a reasonable price. I had a favorite one that I bought at a local upscale department store - super cute, never chafed, never made my boobs look like floating bowls of jiggly pudding. Then, through the last half of the 80's and through the 90's, the trend for push-up bras with tortuous underwires began to appear. Soon, the comfy, nice looking, ones that make boobs look normal vanished or became so poorly made they literally fell apart in short order. I was a slim young woman back then, now, I am in the process of losing a bunch of weight. I love to exercise, but most sports bras just won't accommodate my 44D measurements, and I certainly can't use some "fluffy" push-up, balconette bra with a wire digging into my chest and arm pits while I'm working out!Undaunted, I began a relentless search for a nice looking, comfortable, well made, reasonably priced sport/workout type bra in my size that didn't look like a high necked, armored chest shield for a Valkyrie! I spotted this one here on Amazon and after reading the numerous positive comments, and considering the high ratio of good/over negative feedbacks, I took the plunge and bought one. I chose black. I'm wearing it right now. My tits feel like they've died and gone to heaven or at least transported back in time to those super comfy bras of yore! NO chafing, dramatically reduced bounce, strong, super comfortable bands all 'round, pretty style and fabric, low enough neck so it doesn't stick way up above a tank top, overall - fits like a "boob glove". I am so happy with this bra that I ran right back and bought another one in the 'desert sand' color. I haven't worked out hard in it yet, but judging by what I've experienced so far, I'm not worried.

I can't believe this bra has good reviews, especially from ladies with a larger chest. Really? There is zero support from this sports bra. The only support you get is the fact that it comes a size too small. It has a thick elastic band at the bottom and thick elastic straps which were too small and too painful. My boobs flopped over the band at the bottom- that didn't help at all. That has never happened to me before. This thing is way over priced crap. Please don't try to run in this bra, it will give you scar tissue.

I wear a 42D in bra size so I bought the 42D sports bra. It’s thin and lightweight. You can tell they put a lot of work into the construction of the bra. It’s very tight, I am on the last clip of the bra and the top straps are maxed out. And still it’s kind of uncomfortable. I recently lost 20 lbs and was wearing size 42D before the weight loss so i thought even if it was supposed to be tight, it would be looser for me, it’s not. It separates my boobs which makes me very happy and it stops the jiggle.

I have other bras by this same maker (fitted on me at a store) and they fit fine, in fact they were a C-cup, but I ordered the same 38 inch size, and got a D-cup in this one, and it DOES NOT FIT - I am about to POP or explode (boob-wise) out of it. I got the larger cup figuring an exercise bra would hold me more snugly, but not like a strangulating girdle (2 sizes too small)!! No, I have not gained any weight & the others BOUGHT in a store, still fit fine. The elastic is very tight and cuts into me, making it uncomfortable. In addition, there is ZERO padding and only a very thin (skimpy) fabric such that when you put any shirt on - you see the tits right through the bra & the shirt. (I do not want to be an EXHIBITIONIST!!) Further when I tried to return it, I found AMAZON DOES NOT ACCEPT any bra returns -but do not TELL YOU THAT! Don't buy any expensive bras if you have any doubt about fit or sizing.

I got the 40F in Aqua. The color is beautiful, there is definitely no uniboob. Whether I am throwing a shot, doing sprints, or lifting weights, I feel secure and supported with minimal bouncing. I have a 2 month old son, and since I breastfeed I was worried the bra would hurt my tender boobs but nope! Super comfy! I will be buying more.

This is a game changer. I use it as everyday bra. VERY supportive (I wear a 36G), but not sure it would be enough of shock absorber for running (likely not). Love how comfortable it is, WITHOUT wires. Doesn't make your boobs pointy. I have 3 and am getting the 4th!

Ich bin schon ewig auf der Suche nach einem Sport-BH, der meine doch recht üppigen Oberweite beim Joggen guten Halt gibt und in dem ich trotzdem noch atmen kann. Endlich hab ich ihn gefunden!Normalerweise trage ich BHs in 75J/80I. Sport BHs nehme ich eine Körbchengröße kleiner damit sie besser halten. Habe mich hier also für 80H entschieden und der BH sitzt super. Eine größere Größe wäre bei Anita auch nicht im Angebot gewesen.Der Busen behält eine schöne Form - es sind also noch zwei Brüste zu erkennen und nicht nur eine plattgepresste Masse wie bei vielen anderen Sport-BHs. Dieses Plattpressen sorgt bei anderen BHs für den Halt, schränkt bei mir aber die Atmung immer etwas ein, da der Brustkorb so stark komprimiert wird.Bei diesem BH kommt der Halt in erster Linie durch eine sehr gute Einkapselung der Brüste und nur sekundär durch Kompression. Der Stoff ist relativ dünn aber sehr fest, gibt also kaum nach. Insgesamt wird der Busen angehoben und in der Position fixiert. Beim Springen bewegen sich die Brüste zwar noch minimal mit aber ohne Schmerzen und Zerren.Der BH ist angenehm zu tragen. Es gibt keine störenden Nähte und die Träger sind gepolstert. Er tut definitiv was er soll. Super Halt bei super Komfort - ich bin begeistert. Einzig das Anziehen ist etwas mühselig, da der Stoff so fest ist und man schon etwas kämpfen muss bis alle Haken an ihrem Platz sind. Das ist aber meiner Erfahrung nach bei allen Sport BHs so, deswegen keinen Punkt Abzug.

Ich bin ein Bewertungsmuffel. Heute "schlag ich zu". Es muss sein.Seit vielen Jahren suche ich nach einem geeigneten Sport-BH. Hier nun endlich einmal einer, der annähernd passt. Eigentlich passt er ziemlich gut. Nichts scheuert, keine Stange stört. Der Halt und die Festigkeit sind gerade richtig so. Wenn es den jetzt noch in 110 und 115 gäbe, wären viele mollige Frauen (es gibt doch wohl noch mehr als nur mich???) überglücklich, denn ansonsten wurde an alles gedacht. Material, Form, alles wirklich toll. Leider kneift er mit 105 - also der letzten möglichen "Umfangsstufe" noch ein bisschen. Momentan muss ich das so in Kauf nehmen, es gibt ja auch Verlängerungen, aber dadurch wird auch der Trägerabstand breiter und dann rutschen die Träger wieder, außerdem gibt es Gezwicke.Also, liebe "ANITA": Bitte bitte lasst diesen BH genau wie er ist, mehr Gutes geht nicht - aus meiner Sicht - aber gebt noch ein zwei Umfangsgrößen hinzu. Dann kaufe ich ganz viele. Würde sie auch alltäglich benutzen, weil endlich mal keine Nähte, Spitzformen oder Stangen stören würden. Ja, alle anderen Sport-BH-Hersteller hören schon bei 95 auf. Deshalb bin ich schon ganz froh. Aber ein paar mehr Zentimeter zur Auswahl wären toll. Schließlich soll man auch als vollere Frau immer "sporteln" - und mit vernünftig verstauten Massen käme man angenehmer zu vernünftigen Maßen. Leider ist es wie mit Funktionskleidung für den Sport. Alles nur für schlanke Menschen. Da klafft 'ne Marktlücke, wirklich.

Nice stuff. Fits very well. Very comfortable too. You could wear it all day. Sometimes I even forget am wearing bra. And yet, it's very firm and high impact shock absorber. I dance and jump big time but feel fully protected. I will definitely recommend this 100% either as sports bra or normal every day bra. Sometimes I feel like it's too good for a sports bra so I find myself looking for another sports bra, the typical slip over sports bra. It doesn't bite or cause any nasty marks or itching. It's just perfect. I've given it 4 because sometimes the Base tucks in under which isn't really a big deal.

Normalerweise trage ich BH Größe 85 D-E (je nach Schnitt). Hier habe ich Unterbrustweite 90 genommen, was mir perfekt passt. Die Körbchengröße selbst ist wie erwartet ausgefallen und gibt genug Halt, ohne einzuschneiden.Die Farbe ist perfekt, endlich mal Hautfarbe, die auch nach haus aussieht. Selbst unter einem dünnen weißen Sommershirt zeichnet sich nichts ab.Die Brustform sieht natürlich aus, der Schnitt ist so gewählt, dass auch oberhalb des Körbchens nichts hinaus quillt (das Problem habe ich bei den meisten anderen Sport BHs. Ich brauche beim Sport kein super ausgeschnittenes Dekoltee, ich will, dass der Busen selbst bei einer Rolle vorwärts im BH bleibt...)Die Passform ist so angenehm, dass man darin sogar schlafen kann. Ich trage normalerweise Bügel BHs, da ich es nicht ausstehen kann, wenn sich in den Hautfalten Schweiss sammelt oder sich die Brüste in der Mitte berühren. Aber das Problem habe ich hier noch nicht gehabt. Es sitzt tatsächlich alles so, wie es soll.Das Material ist gut gew#hlt, trotz mehrmaligem Waschen in der Waschmaschine, habe ich noch keinerlei Veränderungen feststellen können.Fazit:Im Zweifel die Unterbrustgröße eine Größe größer wählen, sonst top

I am normally a 36E but this was much too tight - I thought it would be a nice bra for around the house but it was very uncomfortable. If your'e young with firm flesh this bra would be great but when you're in your seventies there's a nasty "overhang" at the back. I will stick to "olds lady bras" in the future. Also very difficult to return form Jersey as no drop off points - I was given the choice of several but all in the north of England.

Feels light and comfortable to wear, but still supportive enough for running and looks fine under a top - if you take a larger cup size some sports bras give you a strange, distorted shape that leaves you feeling a bit self-conscious, but this doesn't. Anita bras come up a bit bigger in the back, I find, so I went down one back size (ie 30G rather than 32F).

This bra exceeds my expectations! It is really comfortable and supportive and makes me look a nice shape than with a push up bra .The back fastening was a bit awkward but I just fastened it at the front and swivelled it round ,thought it was going to be a bit tight but once fastened up it was fine .However it didn't give a lot of leeway for those with a broader back .I will be ordering another soon .

I have bought Anita sports bras for years but I just don’t like the cut of this one. It squashed me so it doesn’t look good and is not comfortable. I have had to purchase the Anita bra I’m used to buying and I wish I didn’t try this one as I can’t send it back.

The bra supports the bust well but I was a bit disappointed with the under bust support band which will not lie flat and rolls up. I had bought the bigger width bra with the same cup size thinking that it would be more comfortable. However I will continue to wear this bra when doing some gentle exercises.

Firm and supportive. I'm wearing it for everyday, but it would do for exercise as well. I ordered a bigger size than I thought I would need and it fits well in all the right places.Good outline.I've just ordered a second one.

The sizing of this bra is totally off, or at least the one I received was. The band was fine but the cups were at least 2-3 sizes too small. I have returned it.

Very good and supporting sports bra. I play volleyball, so lots of moving around and jumping. I've had a lot of sports bras in the past, but this one is definitely my favourite. It's not the prettiest, but definitely the best.

What a superb sports bra! Perfect fit, very light and good breathability, very good support I found too. I wear it all day too, don't mind the sports styling and find it comfortable. Reliable and excellent company. Worth it.

Very happy with this. Don't like sports bras that cross over at the back as they rub on my should blades. This is normal beautiful still, which suit me.
