This is actually a great tool to use on yourself, ergonomic in the hand, I am able to use one nodule (foot of wee critter) for trigger point, two to run along the spine or smaller muscles and the back two feet or all 4 to get a wider range such as on larger muscles or areas that have bony areas to be worked around. It’s intuitive for a novice to use on you but I mainly use it on myself. Often will place it on my pillow and manoeuvre my head/neck to get that “ooo, yeah!” point No rought bits of plastic. Great to use over clothes, scalp & with oils (even corn starch) to give extra comfort and slip. This surprised me in how good it was and not just a gimmick. If this was made in glass, I would buy it again. Downside is that it is plastic so will degrade over time, maybe discoloured with oils & will hold scents after a while as plastic is porous. Make sure you wash it after use to prevent bacteria lingering on it if using it on skin and or multiple people. Using this every other night.
