Update: The company reached out to me about my disapproving review of the popcorn containers and apologized. They informed me that they must have sent out a bad batch by mistake. They asked if they could send a replacement set. After receiving the replacement set, I washed the set to test the paint on the containers. It did not smudge and looks great. I am very pleased that the company took the time and effort to reach out to me and fix this mistake. Initial response: Very cute looking product upon arrival. Durable for holding popcorn. However, after one wash, the red paint started to smear off. The containers are now a sticky mess of smeared red paint.
