First time user. This product was used during the Victorian Era for creating Mourning Jewelry. Very impressed with the product and the results. Burnishes hair and leather effectively!

I was having trouble working my edges down on thin leather, this did the trick with a wood burnisher that you use with a dremel tool. If the hand burnisher with water method isnt working for you, get this stuff and a dremel mounted burnisher and your problem is solved

Love this stuff! I was using water for awhile for burnishing, and the results were okay, and hey, waters basically free. But once you use this, you’ll never go back to using water. MUCH better finish!

Smell is bad, Funky smell is very strong... Did work for making chalk pastels. So that is good. But you don't get much for your money. and there is the funk.. and I need to make a lot of chalk pastels.. So I will look for a cheaper larger bulk alternative.. Would buy in a pinch... or if I find this is the best for what I need, but more testing is to come.

This product is very important to my leather work.. I need this to do my edge work... Gum Trag is perfect for my veg tan leather.. I use this almost every day .

I have some IWB holsters that have the split side towards my skin. Using this Tandy Leather Eco-Flo Gum Tragacanth , applied liberaly, buffed with linen buffer wheel. It smooths up well, and makes for a more pleasant skin to leather contact.

It seems to be a great product.

I had not used the product prior to needing a finishing sealer for the edge of thick leather strip. I made myself a Razor strop of thick leather and the fuzzy / frayed edge was not nice. Using a bit of care and a wooden dowel I was able to apply the Gum onto the edge and rub it into the softer leather. That was some time ago and those edges still look clean and dressed.
