Diffuser means these lights don't blind you when you look at them. They have three temperature settings - 6000K, 3000K and 5000K. 6000 and 50000 are indistinguishable to my eyes and it might have been better to have had a lower brightness instead of the 5000K as an option. The best setting for general illumination, however, is 3000K, which is warm and gentle on the eye, but still bright. Hooks seem reasonably robust. Physical shame means you can use these as hand-held torches,as they fit very comfortably in the hand. I'm very happy I bought these rather than any of the pop-up style lanterns, with their dazzling un-diffused LEDs. And you get FOUR for a decent price. Good buy.

I like the lightweight lights the batteries included is helpful to anyone wondering they are quality certified safe. The quality are exact in my mind to the price and putting the batteries into the lamps is a little bit fiddly because the plastic thread isnt strong it is a sensitive operation. The power isn't too strong but although you probably wouldn't find your way home in the dark I think you would be able to read a book at night. The best feature is the clip on top - enough space to attach to a fair diameter pole. All in all a good value product on Amazon.

I hang these in my living area and sleeping area as the tent only has one lantern hook in each space which isn't bright enough. I use magnetic hooks to hang them. They can chew through batteries so get decent ones and my advice is don't travel with the batteries in, in case they accidentally turn on. These are small but mighty and highly recommended.

Took these away to Scotland for our NC500 trip. Worked a treat, great amount of light and easy to use. Made our motor home outside space really inviting and look really pretty.

Great wee lights with 3 modes. White light, yellow halogen style light and a white light at 50% power for the third click. Batteries supplied, seems duable enough since I've dropped them a few times onto tiles. Good product, no complaints. Good for hanging round your jumper with the clip for no hands use, just attach it somewhere you need it. It's a small but space filling light that'll do in a pinch.

Great lights (with 3 brightness options) Will be very useful. Batteries included but wondering if they will last long? The reason I only did 4* is because one light would not initially work, on investigation I discovered the 2 little internal connecting springs were mis-shapen, but i managed to repair them & that light now works ok. I didn't want hassle of returning them
