This is a fantastic BB Cream for very fair ladies. It provides enough coverage to conceal the pinkness without being too heavy. I use this over moisturizer and sunscreen. It goes on smoothly and stays fresh until the end of day.

Burt's bees bb cream is the only foundation I use. It evens my skin tone without dousing it in foundation. I feel confident and happy because it hydratee my skin and I don't look like a completelt different person when I wash it off at night. My acne is minimal, and you can apply blush, eye shadow and etc without issues. It has a silky smooth application that melts into your skin making it glow! Very light, and you don't need to use much. Love this stuff and I'll be using it until the day I die, or they stop selling it. Whichever comes first.

I thought I'd try this for no make up days, because I am pale and usually look sick. I read one reviewer who said the medium was pretty light so i went for that, to add some color to my pale olive undertoned face. I am also over 60 with dry skin. I found it easy to spread around, although it dries somewhat matte. So I will use a good moisturizer first. I do like the color, and it smooths out the lines a bit, not as well as foundation, obviously, but better than nothing. Photo is me with the bb and some blush/gloss. Now--the smell is NOT pleasant when you first put it on...I thought it was maybe expired, but it was not. Then I saw it had Noni in it-- Noni smells like moldy cheese. The odor dissipates quickly and since I know its the Noni, I'll use it. If you are older with drier skin, use a moisturizer first. If you are young, and/or and oily to normal, you could probably use this solo. Note: the SPF 15 really isn't sufficient sun protection for a long day, so use more sunscreen, especially if you will be outdoors. I use Australian Gold bb for swimming, but for running errands, city walking, not-high-noon summer sun, this works.

I never, ever try makeup samples since I love the makeup I am currently using. However ...... I was at a yoga class when these were made available to anyone who wanted to take one. Since I am getting ready to head to South Africa to go on a safari, I was intrigued by a product that combined sunscreen, moisturizer, as well as a tint (providing a smoothing out of skin tone). Taking one but having low expectations, I was completely surprised about how much I loved it! The individual packet provided was very small but I was able to get two applications from it, and could have probably gotten three if I had a bit more experience with the product at the time. Basically, this is fabulous product that made my entire day. I picked up some more of the packets from the yoga studio to throw in my carry-on and purchased the tube here on Amazon for use at home. A few things to share: I am incredibly fair skinned and the light/medium worked for me. I usually use the lightest tone available in any foundation, but this looked so good that I stuck with it. The cream does have a slight odor upon application but it disappears quickly and is much better than any sunscreen I have found. It seems like it gets absorbed by the skin quickly and it isn't nearly as shiny as sunscreens are. This product does have a slight sheen to it but it's worlds better than an oily sunscreen. I don't have perfect skin, but the coverage is quite satisfactory and evens out my skin tone. If you have blemishes you are wishing to cover, after applying to your entire face, you could just put an additional light dab on those spots and blend in. That should take care of most of the coverage issues. I have sensitive skin and I had no negative reaction of any kind. A little bit goes a long way. Very small amount of product is required which also makes this very economical. Bottom line: I can't believe what a super product this is. It will be my go-to product during the summer months and when travelling on vacations with outside activities.

Let me start by saying that I do love Burt’s Bees cosmetics. I have spent the past two years replacing toxic chemicals from all the products that I use. I have tried so many of their products because of how clean the ingredients are. That being said, I have quite a few gripes with this. First, the color is a match for my skin. However, it’s oily and isn’t a ton of coverage. If you add too much, it separates on your skin but add to little and you have no coverage. Second, it leaves a sheen. Not a glowing sheen, a wow, you have oily skin sheen. I have dry skin and I prefer my face to be matte. Thirdly, this is NOT for anyone with dry skin. You will be patchy and it will settle into all those dry patches. How do I know? I tried a toner that really hurt my skin and left me with dry patches over my entire face. It wasn’t pretty using this product. HOWEVER, although I added a lot of things I disliked, I don’t hate this. Again, the clean ingredients list is something that is very important to me. Also, if you add this under the Burt’s Bees matte powder foundation, it does end up looking very nice. It gives a little extra coverage and adds an SPF. I wouldn’t ever wear this alone and I don’t have any skin issues to even cover up. See my pic. This is with Burt’s Bees matte powder foundation on top with a tiny bit of Burt’s Bees blush. Will I repurchase? If I don’t find anything else to try with this many clean ingredients, yes. I do really like the way it looks under the powder. However, it’s not a product I am absolutely thrilled with.

I'm very pale, but the light to medium was just right. The coverage is perfect as well. And it's moisturizing, not greasy or shiney as others stated. It has a bit of a citrus smell, but not overwhelming.

Let me state that I spent HOURS reviewing different BB creams, tinted moisturizers, etc., before settling on Burts Bees BB cream. The ingredients, affordability, and positive user reviews on amazon clinched the purchase for me. My goals for a BB cream were to simplify my morning "made up" routine. I have combination skin that is very sensitive and I needed something that could cover fine imperfections and redness, and overall even out my skin. Foundations make me look super washed out and I don't have time for all the layering that goes with concealers, foundations, bronzers, highlighters, blushes, and so on. Phew. I did take to heart the reviews that stated to go a shade darker than normal- I'm usually a light/medium and I went with the medium- and I'm very happy I did. I first dabbed a little onto the back of my hand and I was worried because it looked a lot darker than I was expecting and seemed to be quite oily...until I put it on my face. Hello even skin tone without completely taking away my healthy color. Goodbye redness. It ended up applying to my skin much lighter and more natural to my skin tone. What I thought was oiliness ended up absorbing nicely into my skin leaving me with a nice natural finish. I did notice that a little seems to go a long way- areas where I repeated coverage (on accident, I'm applying with my hands and am not a makeup guru) seemed to have more coverage than where I had applied a single layer. I applied this on a down day without showering and my normally rebellious skin is very happy. I combined this with the Burts bees mascara and have achieved the "highlighting my natural beauty without looking too done up" goal. Update a year later: still love, still using! I always use this after I moisturize (Dr Jarts tiger grass) and perhaps that’s why I don’t have the pore/fine line problem that some are mentioning. It’s hard to find cosmetics that are useable without all the ‘no no’ chemicals and Burt’s bees has been the best I have found for both my skin and wallet. Update, several years later: my first tube lasted for a couple of years before it started to get that old, patchy, doesn’t apply or stay well kind of look, so I finally broke down and ordered a new one. The formula seems to be a lot drier this time, tugging on my now over thirty skin. I’ve found combining this with a little moisturizer seems to help and creates a cloud like mousse that’s easy to apply. I have also found that even the darkest tint can make me look washed out during the summer months after I’ve been out in the sun, so I’ve alternated with this during the winter and with a Pacifica multi mineral BB cream in shade 6 (medium) during the summer.

I was looking for a daily tinted moisturizer because my normal light weight "IT" foundation moisturizer seems to have a different formula than before and much heavier which was a total bummer. I researched a ton of different tinted moisturizers and had hoped to go back to my Aveeno which was great but they stopped making it. I gave this a try and was pleasantly surprised!! It is just like my Aveeno and works great. It evens out the skin as I have just a bit of redness here and there. My skin loves it and I'm super happy with my purchase. You can build it for a bit more coverage if needed and for anything more you can just use a bit of your normal concealer. *You do need to shake the tube to mix the moisturizer otherwise it may separate, but easy fix! *There is a slight citrus smell but it goes away within 5 minutes. I usually break out with anything that smells like or has citrus but my skin is great! *I tried this tinted moisturizer with my normal oil routine underneath as well as without. With makes my face a bit sticky as well as without. I gave this product 4 stars for that reason. *Last comment- I read a review saying that the color runs light. Very true. I am normally "light" and I got the light/med. It's perfect. Matches my winter color. During the summer I would apply bronzer anyway so not an issue. Overall this is a great product with minimal cons and great for the price!

Tengo la piel extremadamente grasa, por lo que tiendo a tener imperfecciones y al cabo de unas horas me brillaba la cara muchísimo, por lo que constantemente tenía que ponerme maquillaje en polvo, lo cual hacía peor el problema... He probado por alrededor de 10 años bases de muchas marcas, incluso aquellas que son "especiales" para mi tipo de piel y nunca nada me había funcionado hasta que probé la BB Cream de Burt's Bees. La textura es súper suave y se adapta perfecto a la piel (tono y textura), por lo que ni siquiera se nota que tengas puesto maquillaje, se ve muy natural y cubre perfecto manchas e imperfecciones. La piel no queda grasosa y se ve humectada, además de que es súper duradera, puedes ponértela desde la mañana y llegar a casa en la noche y no es necesario hacer ningún retoque, además de que ya no he necesitado usar maquillaje en polvo, por lo que mi piel está más limpia y se nota. Otra cosa que me encanta es que es fácil de aplicar y distribuir por todo el rostro sin necesidad de aplicar grandes cantidades. En fin, estoy verdaderamente encantada con el producto y generalmente la marca, ¡recomendadísima!

Been using this for a couple of days and I love it so much already . I've never tried a bb cream before and was so difficult to find a cruelty free one to try. I did read one woman's review of this on here and her suggestions really helps . It feels so light on the skin and great to even skin tone. The only thing to say is to not use expect it to work as effective as a concealer if you have blemishes and it might have spf 15 but would recommend wear suncream for good protection. Overall a lovely product that I will stick to now

Für mich funktioniert sie echt gut! Der Ton ist wirklich sehr hell (light) und gräulich, aber offensichtlich ist mein natürlicher Hautton das auch, wenn die sieht bei mir sehr natürlich aus. Lässt sich gut verteilen und deckt leicht bis mittel, definitiv mehr als ich erwartet habe. Da ich ölige Haut habe, muss ich die Anwendung anpassen: 1) Gesicht anfeuchten 2) BB cream in das leicht feuchte Gesicht einarbeiten 3) abpudern Ich kann mir aber gut vorstellen dass die BB cream bei Leuten mit nicht so extrem heller Haut und anderem Unterton komisch aussehen könnte.
