Just arrived from the post a few min ago. Got it up and running in a few minutes. So easy to use. My 4 and 6 year old love it. Just plug it in and start playing with the remote to change the settings.I am sure it will bring hours of fun and dance parties.Fun features:- change the rotation speed- change the light intensity- since it has RGB LEDs, you can select each colour combination. There is also an auto colour change mode. It switches every 3 seconds.- There is a music mode which flashes the LEDs off momentarily to the music intensity. This seems work in any colour mode, even auto change mode.

We are amazed by this lamp! Shaped like an over-sized light bulb with a tiny but highly functional remote included. Product description clearly states "Battery NOT included" so future raters need not deduct for this. We couldn't stop laughing as we watched how the over-engineered remote could control the disco bulb to change speed and brightness as well as select one, two or all three colors of your choice, plus set it to interact with music if desired. Throws exceptionally bright spinning patterns of colored light across a large area; we have a 20' x 50' common area that was well lit to every corner by intensely bright colored spots of light. Will use it to light up the dance floor area of our party. I may get 2 more for an even more interesting light show, not that 1 isn't impressive by itself! Also, arrived VERY fast from China, shipped within hours of order and arrived in 9 days (not one month as shown in delivery tracking info.) Costing under $20 total for all this was a terrific find! Update: At slow speeds the faceted lens rubs the bulb housing which makes it get briefly stuck until the motor pushes it past the sticking point. I was concerned the motor might burn out from repetitive strain plus it made a jerky spinning light effect. If you have this issue, here's how i quickly fixed it-- carefully remove the small lens screw, sand the lens rim with fine sandpaper (a nail file might also work), dust off all filings and reinstall the lens. I scuffed the lens a bit (didnt affect the display) so you may want to use tape for protection before sanding. Works perfectly! Didn't take off a star for this since it's still an amazing deal for a really bright disco bulb with remote control.

The media could not be loaded.  I purchased this with a plug in outlet adapter to plug in basement ceiling. So far works great with handy remote. really lights up the room.

I put this outside in a dry spot for Xmas and due to the cold it takes a few minutes for the motor to speed up the rotating bulb . It is quite bright , several speeds , and a remote for speed and colour . I never used the music function . I don't think you can go wrong for the price and will use it once again next year . These are very nice if you have the right lighting around your house .

Disclaimer: it is mot recommended for use outside.That being said, I did put it in the light socket of my porch ceiling, so it is exposed to so cold temps. The coldest so far has been 19⁰ at night. I've had it on every night for the past two weeks I've had it. Its still working great and love the added light animation it brings to our front porch. Better than just using a green or red bulb for Christmas.
