From when i put ice in my cup to when it melts (with a cold drink), it's probably about 2 hours to fully melt. These ice cubes are great! They last so much longer than your typical standard ice cube.

can be tough to retrieve but once ya figure it out they're really nice cubes. one big one fits perfectly in my whisky glass so real happy with that.

Love to have these big cubes. Not easy to release, but a few minutes out of the freezer make a difference.

After 6-months of use the silicon has absorbed the "freezer smell" which gives the ice cubes a funny taste. Soaking it in baking soda water helps reduce the smell. The lids that are made of a hard tupperware type plastic do not absorb the smell.Lid: 5/5. Has little tabs that keep the lids on but not waterproof. Good for stacking.Unloading: 4/5. Not bad but they dont slide out. Let it sit on counter for about 60sec. Twist it to break it free. Turn it upside down. Push down on the silicone bottom to push out the cube.Appearance: 3/5. Doesnt make perfect cubes. Bottom of the mold is not square so it doesnt make perfect corners and you end up with asymmetrical cubes with perfect corners on the top and chamfered corners on the bottom. This was probably done on purpose to make it easier to get the cubes out and so the corners dont cut into the silicone as you are popping them out. Practical but if you want to impress your friends with perfect cubes you better hope they are more focused on the drink rather than the ice.Filling: 2/5. Probably my biggest complaint. The dividers and side walls are all the same height so you are stuck filling each compartment individually. So if you are used to flooding the tray under a faucet and having all the water distribute evenly into each mold this may be annoying to you. If they made the walls 1/4" taller than the dividers this would have been much easier to fill.

Don’t get me wrong, i really do like this product. I love larger ice cubes because they last longer than smaller ones, and having silicone trays just made sense because the flexibility of the material seemed like the right way to go. However, this silicone is mich stiffer than I anticipated, which i’m sure is due to the fact that it’s meant to stack. The middle line that separates the rows of cubes is very stiff, and trying to remove the ice from the tray proves to be slightly more problematic than one would think. It may be because i’m comparing this model against one i purchased previously , where i could literally peel the silicone off the ice, which made it absurdly easy to get the ice out. With this tray, i have to pull 2 walls of the cubicle out, while simultaneously pushing up with my thumbs, while also trying to shimmy the cube as well since theres little give in the silicone. Still a good product, but had to deduct a star for that.
