Now I am not going to tell you that it cured my insomnia and stress, because it didn't. But I do like it anyway. I use it when I come home from work; usually between a half hour to 1 hour. I wear a sports bra and lay on it on my back and on my stomach and it does indeed make your skin very warm and I actually look like I have a bad sunburn after! I think it is somewhat relaxing and the warming sensation is nice since I tend to be cold a lot. As for the people that said they could not stand on it with bare feet, that was true for me at first, but after using it for about 1 month (3-4 days a week) I can actually stand on it without socks! And for all those silly people that said it was too painful and returned it right away, sorry I say they didn't give it enough of a chance.
