Since Amazon tends to combine reviews from different products, this review is for "Sunbeam Microplush Heated Blanket with ComfortTech Controller." In the "most helpful" reviews there seems to be conflicting information, so as of December 2015 anyway the product is exactly as pictured with the LED box controller (I purchased the Full size, so only one controller). There are 10, not 20, heat settings on the version I got, which matches the description. Complete instructions were included, including how to troubleshoot the 'F' error code. There is a Preheat button (as pictured) which heats the blanket for 30 minutes (on high heat I think) and then it reverts to your selected heat level. The blanket has a 10-hour shut-off which cannot be changed or disabled.In our short test (66F indoors), the blanket is plenty warm on a setting of "4". We bought this for RV camping in sub-freezing temperatures, when the interior of the RV might be 60-65F. Maybe we'd have to push it to "5" in that case. I can't imagine using it on a setting of "H" (high; the lowest level is "L").The fabric is soft, but not what I would call "plush" really. Like all electric blankets, it's fairly thin so the heating element doesn't have to work through 1/4" of fabric or filler. The wires are plainly felt, but not obtrusive, and the blanket is very flexible. Placed on a bed over a thin normal blanket you wouldn't even notice the wires.

WOW! A warm bed on a cold night - so nice! I purchased this blanket for use in my 5th wheel that I have parked in an RV resort in Idyllwild, CA. It gets cold at night. Last night was the first time I used the blanket and WOW! It really works. It is so much softer than the blanket I use in my home, and my MO is to turn the blanket on about an hour before I retire. When I slip between the sheets the mattress and blanket are toasty-warm. So nice! Plush, easy to set up, luxurious and perfect color. Warm up to one for a comfy night's sleep.

Works like a sofa throw with its soft comfort. The easily used heat settings help with a chronic pain issue. It takes the place of a heating pad when the heating pad is not large enough for overall pain. And while warm, can be taken to bed as a beginning sleep blanket, with no need to keep plugged in all night, at least at our house. A Godsend for pain relief that doesn't involve drugs.Also works great, and fun, for a cozy two-party TV viewing throw. Who knows what this cuddly warmth might produce? After all, it is twin size, so why not cuddle up tandem under the plush softness? Feels good against bare skin, but now I'm uncovering too much.

This is the first electric blanket I have purchased/used. The blanket is soft (though it is thin and you can feel the elements through it, but it doesn't bother me... thus only 4 stars). It does have sensors on it, so if you are not using one side of the bed, it will not warm that side until you move to that side. I think this is what happened to those that reviewed it and said half of it didn't work. :-) It definitely keeps me warm at night, and I don't need to use my heater if I'm using the blanket. It's supposed to save $$$ as, according to internet research, electric blankets only cost about 30 cents a night (at the most expensive electricity cost), and that is if you run it for 10 hours!

Bought this Sunbeam Microsoft heated blanket as advertised; 10 heat settings, dual controls, machine washable. The only true statement is that it's machine washable, because it's JUST A BLANKET. The item arrived in a ripped box (one that claimed to have all the advertised parts). It was clearly a returned item that wasn't checked (or advertised as 'USED'. Just-EWWW). It's a blue blanket. I went back & reviewed my order to make sure I hadn't unintentionally purchased a used item. The description was indeed for a new Sunbeam heated blanket (4-star rated) & photos included cords & control settings. What arrived from Amazon was a USED blanket. When re-packaging it for return, I noticed the disgusting, hard & yellowed...stains on it, along with a WHOLE lot of animal hair. Utterly disturbing. More so, there is NO WAY to contact support. They removed my review of a different item (a wall calendar that Amazon destroyed by folding in half & creasing it) & directed me to support to address the issue, but their link just goes to another amazon page that says 'SORRY! Please return to the Amazon home page' Usually either products or support are enough to remain quiet & loyal (& continue paying the ever increasing Prime fee), but this is really out of hand. The item received was NOT what was described or advertised-it was a biohazard, & Amazon simply won't acknowledge it at all .

Although the blanket was plush, I wasn't fond of the heat distribution, nor the temperature control. It stop working after 4 weeks. I returned it ordered another one, which also stopped working.

Bought the king size and used it for lounging. We used for two winters and it was great. We loved it - it was evenly warm, very cozy, and very soft. Third Winter just started so we took it out. We noticed the blanket is not heating as evenly and is not as warm. Tried to troubleshoot it a few times. Still not warm. I looked up when we bought it and it says we got it a week over two years ago. A few other reviews do say theirs lasted about the same length of time.

Si no lo conoces , esta es una muy buena opción para noches con frío. La queen trae 2 controles. Para regular a tu gusto sin afectar a tu pareja.

Perfect! It's the nicest feeling in the world to climb into a bed that's already warm. The blanket is fairly thin, but super soft & plush. The hand controls (2 individual ones on the King blanket) are easy to use, 10 temperature settings, and the Preheat function is great.The only thing that I didn't really think of ahead of time is that there are a lot of cords. There is the cord that plugs into the wall, then each of the hand controls has a cord, so it's pretty "cordy". They have a diagram of how to arrange all the cords (run them under the bed etc) but it doesn't work for the way my electrical sockets are set up, so sometimes I end up tripping over the cords in the morning when I get out of bed. Oh well! It doesn't affect the effectiveness of the blanket & I'm still perfectly satisfied.

La verdad había yo pasado esta ultima temporada de invierno mucho frío, pero nada mas llego y la coloque en mi cama y vivi la mejorexperiencia para tolerar el frío, gracias.

Update: I've had this blanket for over a year, washed it multiple times, and it still works great!----------This blanket is that fantastic. My bedroom tends to be on the colder side, so every night before bed I turn it on 10/high to warm everything up, and then turn it on 1/low for the rest of the night. I've been sleeping so good, I can't believe I went so long without this blanket.The best way to use this blanket is in a bed, as a throw blanket I find it doesn't get as hot as I'd like it to. The heat isn't distributed entirely evenly, but in a bed it's not noticeable as it gets the entire bed very warm. It's essentially a polar fleece blanket with wires within that warm up. Washing instructions are easy to follow(it's basically like any other blanket), but the connector from the blanket to the heat dial has a lock that is very difficult to remove.The price of the blanket fluctuates on amazon, keep an eye out as sometimes it's as low as $50.

it does not get to hot. I am using it for my clients and a few of them would like it warmer and it does not turn up more then i have it set at.
