My cat hates it.. but!
My cat is pretty scared of this toy. That said, it is pretty well made and good value for around 10 quid.I must point out that even though my cat acts tough, he won't tackle anything bigger than a starling. He sat in the window pacing back and forth in a threatening manner and occasionally hitting it whilst watching the pigeons for years but the first time he came face to face with one, nothing..He told us his nickname down at the saloon was Paws McGraw and Teeth o' Keefe but now we just call him Shirley Sherry drinker.

My cats love this toy
My cats play with this fish a lot so I like the fact that it’s rechargeable. I’m very pleased with my purchase.

My cat loves it
This is our second one, the first lasted well about 12 months of been throw around chewed and licked! I’m sure our kitty thinks he’s a dog!Needed to replace as he’d chews through to the mechanism, so replaced to keep him safe! Definitely value for money though

The cats are, so far, simply not interested in the fish.
The fish flaps its tail if you toss it onto the floor for the cat(s) to play with and thereafter only flaps the tail again if moved sufficiently (i.e. played with). Our cats (older kittens really - and therefore at their most curious!) simply look at it in some surprise. Once one of them went up to it and gave it a pat and it did flap its tail, she continued to look at it and then went off to play with a small red ball. I dare say some cats will find the toy a whole load of fun but sad to say (so far) ours don't - I hope that changes. Edit: after a moth since I first reviewed this product that cats simply are not interested in it and I've reduced my rating to 2 stars. Some cats might enjoy it but not ours - it sits in the toy box and despite a few efforts every now and again they simply walk past it and pay it no attention at all. I guess if it kept moving after activation it MIGHT be a different story but that's not the way it's built

Fishy Feline Fun!
The media could not be loaded. Pretty pleased with this fun cat toy! In the package you get the soft fish with a built in device to make the tail flap, a catnip pouch and a USB charging cable.I highly recommend this as something to keep your cats interest if you are out at work all day. I really like how the tail flap lasts for a while, then stops, then comes back on when the cat interacts with it again. As you can see from the photos and video, my cats were definitely interested in the toy. My black cat loves it and takes great delight in rubbing herself against the catnip, as well as attacking the fish with her back legs. The ginger cat more wanted to lay with it or on it; catnip seems to make him rather chilled out!

It’s the cat’s favourite toy
This toy is a strong favourite with all the cats. It has survived 3 Maine Coons and a bengal and it’s still going strong. As this toy has so much use, I have to charge it every 2 days and even then, whilst it’s charging the cats will try to get to it to play with it. Frequently, I find the cable has been pulled out when on charge due to the cats getting to it. Strongly recommend this toy.

Loves the fish - hates the motor inside
I got this for my cat yesterday as she was beginning to get destructive whilst trying to get my attention when I am working on an assignment for work.It all seemed fine when I just placed the fish in front of her, without the motor switched on, as she was enjoying the smell of the catnip. But when I did switch on the motor and the fish started to swish to and fro, the tail managed to hit her hard on the nose and she ran off from it. So I switched the motor back off and within moments she was all over it again like nothing had happened. I repeated turning on and off the motor and every single time the fish moved, she ran off, but came back when I switched it off. I think the sound of the motor was very loud and was something else that put my cat off it.I have now decided to take out the motor - which was easy enough, and when I next get paid I am just going to stuff the fish with catnip and allow my cat to have it like that.So all in all, my cat loves the fish, but not the motor inside - hence only 3 stars from me I'm afraid.
