I like it for word processing better than my laptop keyboard
I purchased this keyboard so I could raise my laptop to eye level when using it at home and it is working out nicely. The keys are raised and make a slight click when touched. I like this because I know I hit a key correctly and I can type along fast and accurately. I have to use 1 finger typing on my laptop because the keys are so flat its easy to slide to the wrong one.I like the blue backlight. It can be turned on and off and also dimmed. The package came quickly from the vendor and it was packaged very securely. I can't really comment about fast gaming but I think for the price it is a good deal for office type work.

Great backlit keyboard for $ not $$$$
The back light works, it’s sturdy and has yet to completely fail after a couple months of heavy use. Cons: received this one in a non level sitting condition but added some stick on rubber stoppers from Amazon for a few dollars and resolved that. It’s honestly decent for the price you can’t go wrong.

Good Backlit Keyboard — that Beats all it's Competitors in this Price Range
After studying a number of reviews for backlit keyboards I bought the Mafiti Keyboard for the following reasons.Pros:Cost. It was a lot cheaper than comparable products.Size. I'm glad it's a slim keyboard.Feel. It works fine and not much different from my previous Dell keyboard.Quality. It's reasonably sturdy and should last for a number of years.Backlit Heaven. I love that the light shines right up through the keys.Platform design. The keys sit above the keyboard's deck, making cleanup a breeze.Three backlit color choices: Red, Green, and Yellow (Why yellow? Beats me.)Five brightness levels. Fn key + PgUp/PgDown You can also turn the lights off.One button to switch between Red, Green, Yellow and off.Cons:Not as well built as a Gigabyte or Logitech keyboard but also not as heavy.A bit of a wobble in the keys but not enough to cause me any problems. Some uneveness in the lighting, though not enough to make it a deal breaker.Doesn't remember its previous light setting or color when you power off your PC.Though that's a minor complaint since resetting it is so easy.Best backlit keyboard in this price range — nothing else even comes close.I like this keyboard and I think you will too!

Love the blue backlight. Have to get used it the Enter key.
The blue LED backlight is awesome for working in low light. Yes, the light shows thru the key cap character as well. The keys are just a tad smaller (so the light can shine between them) but the one thing I have to get use to is the Enter key/backslash arrangement. On many of the other kbs I have used the backslash key resides far-right on the same row as "P" and extends to the margin with backspace, and the enter key is wider and completes the row with "L". On this kb, the Enter key resides at the end of both rows; the backslash is squeezed in next to the apostrophe/double-quotes. Also the backlight is turned on/off by a key that resides to the right of the spacebar. Kind of unique though, there is a Fn key like on a laptop, that activates similar keys residing on the F1-F12, as opposed to having multimedia soft-keys. Nice! It's really light, so feels like it might be flimsy, but you can't twist it like some really thin kbs.All in all, for the price, I'd get another one if I needed it.

Does not work with KVM, but types fine, very quiet, very low cost.
This keyboard is a PS/2 keyboard with a PS2 to USB converter built in. It looks like a USB-only keyboard, but it shows up as a PS/2+USB device instead of a USB HID device.Hitting control, control, number, enter simply does not work. I can type okay, but it simply will not work with a KVM since it does not send keystroke information the same way as a pure-USB keyboard. The keyboard itself is a membrane style. It has high resistance to start, and a rapid, quiet bottom-out. The key shaft is designed such that the keys have a very stable feel, and good travel. It "feels" like a decent quality mechanical keyboard on initial use. It FEELS like a hard, silent click. Impressive for a membrane keyboard. It's not quite the same, but it's good enough. The backlight can be red-only, or it can fade/cycle through red, green, amber. You cannot set it to just stay green nor just amber. No adjustment of the timing for the cycle. The steps for the backlight brightness are good, allowing you to zero in on the brightness you want. It's not super bright, so default won't blind you in a dark room. It's very readable in normal office light too.The price of this is amazing for how it feels, but you could never use this in a full-on datacenter due to lack of proper HID signalling. It's fine for a normal desk though.

Too dim to use
I bought this to replace another Mafiti keyboard, when one of the shift keys stopped working. By the time the new keyboard arrived I had actually managed to repair the shift key on the old keyboard, so I dawdled in hooking up the new keyboard until today.Wow. Too bad the window to return it had closed. The blue backlighting in this new keyboard is so dim as to almost be nonexistent. The upper two rows of keys were reflecting the glare from my monitor and no actual letters or numbers could be seen.I actually reinstalled the old keyboard. That's how bad the reviewed model is.

Really Good Purchase! Especially if you like the old style bigger keys.
I like the older style thick keys like on the older Dell keyboards. I do not like the newer really flat low profile keys that are like laptop or Apple styles. After a lot of searching, I found this to be the only option with the bigger concaved keys that are also backlit. For the low discounted price it was worth a try. The keys are really quiet and the light output is nice, too. It's exactly what I was looking for! The only issue, which others have mentioned, is the placement shape of the ENTER key. Instead of it being horizontal, it is vertical. So you end up pressing \ instead of ENTER.

One key off.on feature.
I've ordered two and they are just what I needed. I like the one key off/on feature besides the incremental adjustment. I don't game so it's fine for what I do. EDIT: I noticed today that the windows key is harder to depress. That's a nice feature as I have pushed it in error many times.

Great people for assistance with issues.
Received a unit with a dent on the right upper corner. Unit replaced, and thank you to the team on sales/ complaints. The keyboard is a classic shape, with white back lights helping with typing at night. Overall, decent quality for the price. Thank you!

Very cheaply made.
Keyboard layout around enter key is different than most other keyboards I've had. Backlighting is bright enough but uneven with a large amount of light seeping out around the keys. The entire keyboard is incredibly lightweight leaning towards flimsy. The keys also wobble. I also found the Caps lock green led to be a distraction from the rest of the keyboards white backlight. I wouldn't purchase this again.I wasn't expecting much for $20 but this thing is really cheaply made. I think the box it came in cost more to make. I purchased this to be basically disposable. Interested to see how long it actually lasts. I have zero confidence in this keyboard. Definitely not sturdy enough to stand up to even mild gaming. This is replacing a very old Saitek keyboard. The backlight finally burned out after almost twenty years. That keyboard has a much better feel than this Mafiti.
