Strong chemical exfoliator
This has a high concentration of glycolic acid. Do not use more than recommended. I say that because I tried. I have very high cell turnover. I normally use an apricot physical exfoliator daily with no irritation. So, I thought I could use this daily without the physical exfoliator and be fine. I was wrong. Even without using a physical exfoliator, I can only use this a maximum of every other day and it works best at a little less. Like 2-3 times a week. I had been using Mario Badescu glycolic acid toner. I could use that one every day so this is significantly stronger. It works great but should be used with caution. Glycolic acid toner is the only type I use with a cotton ball. I normally use the Asian method of “pour into your hands and pat in” for applying toner. I find that with something like glycolic acid, it feels like the cotton kind of wipes away the dead cells that it’s culling. It looks like it has some kind of sediment in the bottle so I always shake before using. The bottle is a pretty frosted pink ombré glass. The lid is actually like an aluminum. It’s a really nice bottle. It took some trial and error to discover my balance but I really like this toner. I would recommend for sure. Please hit the button if this info was helpful.

Provides slightly smoother skin but not a significantly effective AHA treatment by itself
This Pore Clarifying Toner by Saturday Skin is not bad, but I did not see enough noticeable improvement that I would purchase another bottle. It is a little hard to get the product out (you have to shake each drop out rather than pour), but I do like the packaging of this toner - the thicker glass bottle is pretty and would look nice on a countertop. The scent is neutral - it is subtle enough that I did not even take notice of it. Application is good, with the toner absorbing quickly and leaving no sticky residue or feeling afterward. It is a glycolic acid so can sting a little bit depending on skin sensitivity, but I did not experience any redness or irritation through use. I used it at night and in the morning, my skin did feel somewhat smoother and softer, so I did appreciate that. However, it was just minor improvement and I did not notice any additional benefits. The directions for this toner say to use 3-5x a week, so it is for treatment rather than a daily toner. I could understand that an AHA daily toner might be made weaker so as to reduce the possibility of skin sensitivity, but this is supposedly 10% glycolic acid that should only be used a few times a week, so I would expect it to make a more noticeable difference. In comparison, before I started using this toner, I was using another brand's 10% glycolic acid pads, which were somehow gentle enough to be possibly used 2x daily (morning and night), yet still remained effective - my skin so quickly and noticeably improved that I was kind of shocked. Even though both products have the same AHA level, the results were not at all similar. Despite the 10% claim, I know that oftentimes toners do not have as strong effect because they are a thin liquid that does not stay on the skin as long as serums or creams might. That is why I am usually more willing to purchase products that use key ingredients in a serum or essence form. I think an AHA toner might not be as good of a value as another skincare product category - this one had minimal benefits for me, so I would not use it as my only AHA. However, as my skin had no negative reactions and it did help somewhat, I would consider it an okay toner to use, just with the caveat that I do think skin could show faster and increased improvement through use of this toner in correlation with a more effective product, so more as a regimen "boost" rather than a solo treatment.Pore Clarifying Toner

Lives up to its claims
I've never used a toner that actually showed me results after one use. Well this pore clarifying toner from Saturday Skin is the first. This claims to clarify and minimize pores while of coarse toning the skin. This is the best toner I've ever tried. It doesn't dry out my skin, which has frequently been a problem for me with toners in the past. They recommend using this product 3-5 times per week. This toner lived up to its claims so far. After the first night of use I could see results the following morning. My pores looked clear even more so than usual. The most obvious result and the one I'm happiest about is that they appeared so much smaller! So many products claim to to tighten and reduce pores, but I've yet to actually notice a difference. I also feel this product made my skin look nice over all. It's a great addition to my skin regimen. The packaging is great it looks nice on my vanity, but more importantly it's a nice thick durable bottle. Oh and of coarse the actual product being pink adds to its pretty look. :)I have mildly sensitive skin and I haven't had any irritations, redness, or breakouts.

good toner for my specific needs
i first saw this k-beauty brand on soko glam and was interested in trying it so i jumped on the chance when i saw the opportunity! i have sensitive normal to combination skin so my skin generally doesn’t like alcohol based toners; and again, if you have similar skin to mine, toners with acids like this one are ok only if i use them once a week, or else my skin gets irritated. i mainly use toners like this on areas where i have larger pore concerns (e.g. nose, chin, etc.) and areas where the skin is healing from a zit for faster turnaround to even the color out. the other areas of my face are more sensitive so i don’t use it on my cheeks, etc. i haven’t had any irritation when used like that, and i do like the results it has on my skin in terms of how it looks and feels. since i don’t use it as an all over toner it will definitely last me a while and i’m glad i had a chance to try it. i will use the rest of the bottle for sure. i do not have eczema or acne, if that helps inform your decision. this would be a great toner for someone with oily or older skin that is not sensitive.
