Just what I was searching for!
I bought some earmuffs in the subway in S. Korea a few years back that I loved, but, unfortunately, I lost them after I'd already returned home to the US. Just as I had hoped from looking at the picture, these are almost exactly the same! The only difference is that they don't have the little round metal mesh pieces in the sides to make hearing easier.I hate adjustable or foldable earmuffs because they are too awkward, squeeze my head and make it hurt. They are also more expensive. I was a little worried based on the other reviews that these were not going to fit well, but I think it's just personal preference and what you're used to.Note: There is a "right" way to wear these. It took me an embarrassingly long amount of time when I got my first pair to realize that I was wearing them upside down. If you wear them the wrong way, there's a gap at the bottom over the ears. As for carrying them around, I used to sort of hang the earmuffs on the strap of my purse. You may doubt whether this is the best method for carrying them around when not in use because I lost the first ones, but I bought some of those foldable ones, too and lost them in one day! It probably says more about me than the earmuffs.

What did you guys expect?
Can't believe all the negative reviews, but I took a chance since they're only listed at $3.11 (free shipping with Prime.) I don't know what the fuss is about. I like them. They hug my head and do the job of keeping the cold air away from my ears. For the money they're just fine. I already knew they weren't the folding/compact kind but I keep them in my backpack so I don't mind. Product is as described. It's just fleece over some steel wire. Exactly what I thought they'd be. If I'd paid $20 for the product I might be disappointed but not at 3 bucks so everyone saying "you get what you pay for" is nuts. What you get is a product that does the job for only 3 bucks. What's to complain about?

Adequate Protection, Rock Bottom Price
The Ear Warmers (Ear Muffs) are very basic and just did fit (I wear a size 7 1/2 hat!), but the price was rock-bottom. I checked Amazon after the cheapest ear muffs I could find locally were $29.95, on sale at 50% off for $15.00. The EarPros work just fine at less than 1/3 the price. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0010KXA4W/ref=cm_cr_rev_prod_title (Black)

Get what you pay for
Ok, so it is incredibly obvious that this thing is CHEAP. Thank goodness that it is actually cheap cost-wise too but it is nothing more than probably a metal clothes hanger bent to conform with fleece wrapping it. NOW, that also makes it incredibly light but understand there is NO adjustment to this thing (like some of them actually slide/expand/close). This is a friction based, one size hopefully fits all situation. We'll see how it holds up and I am thankful I didn't break the bank buying it but had I handled the thing in a store I would have put it back and said "thanks, but no thanks."UPDATE: wow, its obvious that lots of people order these and had the exact same experience I did recently...

Questionable quality
These ear warmers are made of a light weight fleecie material with a single bent wire running through it to keep its shape. I have a meadium size head and these warners bearly fit around the back of my head. They don't feel very secure; They feel like they are comming loose every time I move my head around. I wouldn't recommend them for serious outdoor activities. They may work better for someone with a little smaller head or if you are not going to be very active, like driving or just walking. I won't say they are totaly cheep as they are warm and comfortable wile they are on. For me, they kind of remind me of a pair of glasses that would keep sliding down my nose as these warmers keep working their way off my head.

Excellent product
These ear warmers are very comfortable, easy to put in a bag and fold & unfold. They are also light weight enough to not cause pain in my ears, and they defend me from the chilly winds very nicely.EDITED in Dec 2011 :I saw certain other bad reviews and I am surprised that there are plenty of 1 star reviews. I have been using this product extensively in frigid temperatures of around 10 degrees Fahrenheit to protect my ears, and truly speaking, my ears are very sensitive. And these ear warmers work brilliantly for me. In fact, at times when I wore them at temperatures of around 32 degrees Fahrenheit, they proved to be too warm, and I had sweat running down my ears and neck area.

You get what you pay for.
I bought this set and the Riverstone brand at the same time. So although I'm comparing them against each other, I'm only reviewing the EarPro brand here. The wire inside this set is not well structured. Depending on which side is up, they will fit tightly on the top side of my ears, and barely touch the sides of my head beneath my ear lobes. I expect that looseness will likely allow wind to whip into the gap. Then, if I flip them over, they are snug below my earlobes, but loose around the top of my ears and they feel like they are going to fall off.Honestly, this EarPro brand MIGHT keep me warm while walking, but I doubt that it will stay on my head while skiing or snowboarding. They will certainly not stay on through a fall on a snowboard.Overall, I recommend these if you are merely going to be walking on a sidewalk in low wind. If not, pay a little extra and get the RiverStone brand (they are the exact same size but feel like they will actually stay on my head).

Pretty Good for price.
I was shopping at Macy's and saw some earmuffs for 15 dollars..when i saw these for a fraction of that i figured let me try these and if they suck nothing really lost because affordable..but they are fine..may not be on par with the top dollar ones..but get the job done..fits fine and snuggly..keep ears warm..and design is cool that can be folded flat so i can keep inside coat pocket..no regrets and no need to spend more money or a better one..this one is good enough.
